Story
Blue is a Great Pyrenees that came from a hoarding situation. He has been with us for six months now and everyone at OFSARNOF just loves him! He is a leaner and loves attention and just wants to be around people. He has his quirk of sometimes resource guarding so needs someone who understands the breed and can handle a very large dog but this dog is so worth the time and effort! He gets along with dogs as long as there isn't food/treats around and is great with cats, chickens, sheep etc however he cannot be a successful livestock guardian dog due to his wanting to always be with his people. Great farm dog otherwise!

Hi, I'm Austin! I’m a big, sweet boy with a goofy and fun spirit! I love playing and am good with kids and dogs. I can be a little skittish, but with some ear scratches and encouragement, I know I’m ok and won’t be scared. I have been good in my crate and walk decent on the leash. I do need some help with the basic training, but did I say how much I love food? I can be taught quickly with some treats and practice. Did you know I also like water? Drinking it, walking in puddles, swimming. Yup, I jumped in my foster mom’s cold pool on a 40 degree day and loved every second of it! If you’re ok with me lounging on your couch and/or bed, I’m in. Did I mention I love food? I have been known to sneak up on the counter for some food. I mean, you were going to share it anyway!

Hello! His name is Polo. He is a Great Pyrenees and is 4 years old. He was gifted to us when he was only 6 weeks old. He is very calm and loves receiving hugs and kisses. He is not an energetic dog, he plays for a little bit with you but then gets tired and just ignores you. He loves kids and wants to play with them as if he was one of them. He loves to sleep in my bed even though he has his own bed… His vaccines are up to date. He is a healthy dog and doesn’t have any medical issues. What I’m Looking For: A loving home that can provide Polo with the care, attention, and love he needs. A family with a yard where he can run around. If you or someone you know would be interested in giving my sweet boy a forever home, please contact me. I’m happy to provide more details and arrange a meet-up to see if it’s a good fit.
