This handsome guy with a few cute curls is looking for his forever home. He is bonded with his foster mom and doggie sister, but I feel he will adjust to a new home with a little time and patience. He hasn't had much socialization so is timid meeting people but quickly warms up and gives kisses. Jake will make a fantastic pet for an active individual or family. House & crate trained. NOTE: If both him and Joy are adopted by the same people, the second dog's adoption fee will be 1/2 price. **Any questions about Jake, please contact his foster mom at: (989)313 - 4874This dog is sheltered in a foster based, nonprofit rescue in Crossville, TNAdoption Fee: Local = $225 - Transport = $525 (out of state to Great Lakes or New England regions)The Adoption Fee Includes Age-Appropriate Vaccinations (DA2PPV, Bordetella, Rabies), Deworming, Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Flea, Tick and Heartworm Treatment and Prevention, and Sheltering. Story
Odin is a truly handsome, young, 88 pound, Great Pyr boy that was born 1/2/23 and is looking for a family to love and chill with.  This big boy is fully grown and is the so very easy going and good natured.  He was raised with his brother Thor on a country property owned by a senior lady who has come to realize that both the brothers need homes where they can be an inside dog and part of the family.  She cannot provide that and so is now willing to let each one go to separate families that might have children (he loves children) and to be a part of maybe even living with other dogs or cats.  He is good with everyone he meets and all creatures.  This boy is not housebroken as he has never been inside for any length of time to learn the rules and the signals for potty breaks.  He is a loving and easy dog to have around and we want him to become a part of a family life that offers him a big dog bed and lots of love and guidance.  He is good with meeting new people and doesn’t bark excessively at all.  He will bark if he is bored outside in a pen.  He plays nicely and is fun and happy.  If you are interested in this one year old handsome boy please email us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com and let us know where you live:  city and state and let’s start a conversation about him possibly becoming a part of a special family lifestyle.   PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.           PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comOctober 31, 2024, 2:39 pm

Story
Welcome Athena to CCPAL Rescue. She is a 12-month-old Great Pyrenees. She and 2 others were found roaming the streets. One was hit by a car and the 2 are now with CCPAL Rescue. The Good Samaritan that brought them saw it all and has kept them till CCPAL could take them. She mentioned that she thought they were rejected by a breeder or maybe he didn’t want to do it anymore. When we took in Athena we didn’t know she was pregnant. We found out when we took her to be spayed so we allowed her to have the puppies. All the puppies have been adopted and now it is time for this gentle sweetheart to find her forever home. We are not sure why they were loose but Athena is a wonderful dog. She doesn’t jump up and he is great with other dogs. She doesn’t know anything about leash walking but we will be working with her on leash skills. He is about 65 pounds and looks to be a good weight. This breed of dog is a Guardian dog and are known for their ability to protect a flock of animals from harm. She will need a fenced yard as this breed will roam without a fence. She has a wonderful long coat and will be great in the more northern and colder climates. We think he is a pure-bred GP pup but we are not breeders and he has not papers. We will say she is a mix. She would be great with another dog or as an only and fine with children. 8 or older are ideal. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Story
Welcome Athena to CCPAL Rescue. She is a 7-month-old Great Pyrenees that was purchased initially from a breeder. She is a pure-bred GP pup. She weighs about 79 pounds and may be 90 lbs. full grown. The person that is surrendering her didn’t know this dog would be this large. She hasn’t been worked with a lot so has some puppy skills. She isn’t great on leash but we will work with that. A Great Pyrenees is a guardian breed and is a wonderful breed for children or with other animals. She is good with a cat and other dogs. She is also good in the car. She is not spayed yet but is on the schedule to be spayed soon. She has a long beautiful coat and would be a perfect breed for the cooler climates. The Great Pyrenees will need a fenced yard. The underground fencing won’t be good for this breed. She is more mellow but should have all the qualities people love about this breed. She is in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 400 and transport is 180. Story
Welcome Athena to CCPAL Rescue. She is a 2-year Great Pyrenees. She weighs about 90 pounds. She has a beautiful coat and the typical extra back toes commonly found in this breed. This is a guardian breed dog. They naturally will protect their flock or family. This breed will do best in a fully fenced yard as they will roam away if there is no fence. She is good with other dogs and will need some more leash work. She would be great with someone that knows the breed and loves it. She should have the natural tendencies of this breed. She had puppies and we adopted them out. We also adopted out the larger male that was found with her as a stray. She would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. She is up on her vaccines, healthy, spayed and ready for her forever home. She is currently in Texas anc can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. He was left behind when his owners moved out. Very affectionate. He looks like a goofy, kind of floppy hound dog as he ambles around. He’s sweet and affectionate. Gets along with most dogs. He’s a little bossy with food especially with a timid dog. Feeding in a crate solves that. Loves his play time in the yard with two stout dogs. Great on a leash.
