Story
Aspen is a beautiful 2-year-old rescue dog who’s full of energy and love but needs a very special home. She’s extremely playful and active—she loves running, playing, and spending time outdoors, so a fenced-in yard would be ideal for her. Aspen thrives with someone who can give her the structure, patience, and time she needs to work through her challenges. Aspen does have resource guarding behavior, particularly around food. She will growl and lunge if someone gets too close while she’s eating, but she has never bitten anyone. However, with young nieces and nephews under 5 in my home, it has become a concern for their safety. I’ve worked with a trainer, but Aspen needs someone experienced, calm, and extremely patient to help her continue working on this behavior. She tends to listen better to men, so a male adopter may be a great fit. If you have the time, patience, and love for a sweet, playful, and loyal dog, Aspen will reward you with endless joy and companionship. 8456610737

Story
Flint is a 40 pound, 5 month old Pyrenees/Lab mix. This handsome boy is deliciously soft and strikingly handsome. True to his Pyr heritage, he is initially a bit wary of strangers and will bark a little when first meeting new people. He warms up quickly, however, and will soon be in their lap and giving plenty of kisses! Flint adores his people and is a delicious snuggler! His favorite is a cuddle on the couch in the evening, and he does think he's a lap dog! Flint is obsessed with the other dogs in his foster home and would love a canine sibling in his new home. He follows the other dogs in his foster home around and likes to climb on top of them for a cuddle or a wrestle. Flint is still a mouthy puppy but redirects well to his toys. He enjoys playing with his toys and can often be found carrying a favorite around with his head held high and whole body wiggling. This cutie is very much in his puppy phase and needs to be monitored well and properly stimulated so he does not get into trouble. Flint likes to be outside and would love a home with a fenced yard. He is crate trained, housetrained if kept on a schedule, walks well on leash, and knows "sit". Flint is food motivated and very trainable. He will brighten the lives of a very lucky family! Thank you so much for your interest in adopting a dog from A New Chance Animal Rescue (https://anewchancear.org). We are a 501c3, tax deductible organization. All fields on the application must be completed. Please read about the adoption process (https://www.anewchancear.org/adopt/our-adoption-process/) so you'll know what to expect when you submit. Our dogs are in foster care and we do NOT have a shelter or boarding facility. AN APPLICATION MUST BE COMPLETED IN FULL AND APPROVED BEFORE A DOG CAN BE MET. This is a firm policy. Our busy volunteers are not able to respond to questions about the dog or dog meeting requests in the absence of an application. We know these dogs very well because they are in foster care. Please read the profiles of the dog(s) you are interested in prior to submitting an application. If there are specific requirements stated (ie: Fenced Yard or Canine Friend Required) these are included because they are vital to the happiness, health, safety and adoption success of that dog. We provide medical care including vaccinations, testing, deworming, spaying/neutering and microchipping before transporting our dogs. We provide all supplies, preventatives and any follow up vet care necessary while they are in foster care. These costs are high and the number of lives we can save is entirely dependent upon donations from people like you. We do not receive funding from private foundations or government sources. If you can find room in your heart to help us, with any amount, we are truly grateful (https://www.anewchancear.org/help/donate/). We are a 501c3 organization, so all donations are tax-deductible. It is only through the kindness of supporters like you that we are 'changing lives...one tail at a time' by providing our dogs with 'A New Chance.' (https://anewchancear.org) Thanks so much.

Story
Hi there, I’m Thumper, a 1-year-old 45 lb Great Pyrenees. I may only have three legs, but that doesn’t slow me down at all. I’m a sweet and energetic pup with a gorgeous coat and an even bigger heart. I love being around people and kids, and I’m already picking up lots of good manners! I know how to sit when asked and am getting better at coming when called. I’m almost housetrained, too—just a little more practice, and I’ll have it mastered. I’m a smart, eager-to-learn pup who thrives with patience and training. And let’s be honest—I’ll do just about anything for some attention and a good scratch from my favorite humans. If you’re looking for a resilient, affectionate companion who’s always ready to bring joy into your life, I could be the perfect fit. I can’t wait to find a forever family who’ll see just how special I am! Thank you so much for your interest in adopting a dog from A New Chance Animal Rescue (https://anewchancear.org). Story
Hey there! I’m Penny, an 11-month-old Great Pyrenees mix with a playful spirit and a heart full of love! At 50 pounds, I’m the perfect mix of big enough for adventures and cuddly enough to snuggle up on the couch. I absolutely adore people and love giving kisses to show just how much you mean to me. If you’re looking for a sweet, affectionate companion, I think we’d make a great team. I’m still a young pup, so I love to play! Whether it’s running around the yard or playing with other dogs, I’m always up for some fun. I already know how to sit, and I’m eager to learn more if you have some treats and patience. After a good play session, I’m all about cuddles. There’s nothing better than curling up close and soaking up all the love and attention. I’m ready to find a family who’ll cherish my affectionate, playful personality and give me the forever home I’ve been waiting for! Noelle is a sweet, beautiful girl that is a combination of independent and submissive. She can be submissive to people and other dogs, but is also very playful with both. Her FAVORITE thing is to play in the water. She has a puppy pool and loves it. Noelle will need to fed away from other pets or she will let them have her food and not eat. She loves apple slices and will sit for treats. She is high energy and active. She loves to play and wrestle with her fur siblings, so she would love an active family with another dog. Noelle is crate, house, and leash trained. As with every dog, she will need to continue her socialization and training in her forever home. Noelle is up to date on all vaccinations and monthly preventatives. She's spayed and microchipped, too. To adopt, submit an application at www.because4paws.org
