Story
Sweet Tilly is ready for a home of her own. She is doing very well in her foster home and this is what her foster mom says about her-
Just wanted to share some pics and an updated bio for Tilly now that we’ve had a chance to get to know her better! It took Tilly some time to settle in & open up, but after a few weeks here she is doing so well and it has been a joy to spend time with her!
I’m so happy that her sisters found their forever homes with CPR volunteers! Congrats Valentina & Becky!
Tilly is a sweet, mellow, and gentle girl who loves to play with toys, go for walks, and run around in the yard - but mostly she just wants to hang out with her humans! She loves cuddling on the couch and she especially loves belly rubs!
She is 100% potty trained and hasn’t had a single accident, she goes to the door when she needs to go out.
She is food motivated and easy to train, she learned the word ‘cookie’ very quickly! She does not have separation anxiety and likes to just relax & snooze on the couch when she’s home alone.
She is very affectionate & protective towards the toddler in her foster home, and she loves to snuggle with him. Her human foster brother is very energetic and Tilly is a little nervous around him when he is being wild & crazy, so she might prefer a home with older and/or calmer children.
She loves other dogs, and she’s been great with the senior dog in her foster home who would rather not play with his foster pup siblings - she is very friendly with him but gives him his space which he appreciates. She would enjoy a dog friend to play with, but she’s also perfectly happy playing independently with her toys.
She will make the most loving, loyal, and cuddly companion and she can’t wait to meet her forever humans!
Tilly is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. All dogs 6 month + receive a Proheart 6 injection at the time of their heartworm test. This provides heartworm prevention for 6 months from the time of that injection. This dog has tested ****** for heartworms.
Visit our website to see our weekend Events here! Pups with the designated “meet me” next to their names are in CT and ready to attend adoption events. Please check with your adoption coordinator if you are interested in a specific dog prior to coming to an event, as a dog's availability to attend can change at any time. We can not guarantee approval on site at the events, so we recommend applying ahead of time. You can apply at the event, but the application process may not be able to be completed the same day. If you are not pre-approved, you are still welcome to come and meet pup’s at the event!
The adoption fee is $500 which includes spay/neuter, up to date vaccinations, flea/tick and heartworm preventatives, and the mandatory CT HB 5368 fee.
If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 11 am-1 pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05.
TO APPLY PLEASE GO TO www.cprdogs.com. If your application was successfully submitted you will get a confirmation. Please DO NOT USE the ADOPTAPET "CONTACT THIS RESCUE GROUP" form below or you may not hear from us as these often end up in spam or bouncing back.
After receipt of your application, an adoption counselor will then be in touch to answer your questions about this pup, discuss the adoption process and get the ball rolling! If you have not heard from one of our volunteers within 5 days of submitting your application, please email mollibo@gmail.com.
