Story
Meet Gryffin! He is 3 years old and 100 lbs. "Gryff" is an adorable boy. He's a big couch potato and loves snuggles. Although he can sometimes be a little anxious, he is very loyal and loving. Tearing up toys and chasing his tail are his favorites. He's done well with kids, but he takes a little bit of warming up to anyone. He would also be great with other dogs, but it would have to be a slow transition. He would love a big backyard to protect and run the fence line. He would make either a family or an active person very happy!February 17, 2025, 3:12 pm

Story
This is Cotton! She enjoys romping around the backyard, playing with her foster canine brothers and sisters, and getting a lot of belly rubs and head scratches. Cotton is curious with cats but never aggressive towards them. Due to her size, she is learning that food on the counter or table isn’t hers, despite being within reach. She is also learning to avoid being underfoot as she loves her humans and wants to be where they are. Cotton thinks she is a lapdog and craves attention. She is kennel trained, housebroken, and a pro at the dog door. True to her Great Pyrenees lineage, she enjoys communicating with her voice with barks here and there. She is a huge sweetheart and is ready to find her Valentine. Cotton is a 1-year-old mixed breed rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $400 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, 4DX testing, and spay. Cotton is also tested with other dogs, cats, children, and is kennel trained and housebroken. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if she might be a good fit for your home. The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals. We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!) Please note, we do not have the ability to process adoption applications at our adoption events, so please plan accordingly. If an application is submitted past 5pm on Monday-Thursday, it will begin review the following day. If submitted on Friday-Sunday, it will begin review on Monday. It takes approximately 1-2 business days for an application to be processed. Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525). For additional questions regarding meeting this dog please contact us via text/email at 970.699.6772, or contact@bounceanimalrescue.org. We apologize for any inconvenience, but due to a high volume of inquiries, calls and voicemails regarding adoption will not be returned. Thank you for choosing adoption! If you would like more information on our organization please visit our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org.

Story
Hi, my name is Stella but I go by Stellie-Bellie. I am guessed to be a 3-5 yr old Great Pyrenees, around 75 lbs, and here in Colorado searching for my furever family, all the way from Texas. When I first arrived here I was not feeling my best. But after some TLC I am good as new! I do have some weakness and instability in my hind legs but that doesn't stop me from getting the zoomies before bedtime! Plus the vet said my x-rays look good and I don't have any pain or difficulty walking. True to her breed, Stella enjoys sunbathing in the yard and being stubborn when being called in. Despite her stubborn nature, Stella is eager to please and responds well to praise. She enjoys dividing her time between laying in the sun, protecting the yard and snuggled up at her humans feet. Stella gets along well with other dogs with slow introduction but would do best in a home with a submissive, low energy dog or as an only pet. We are still working on potty training and counter surfing, but with gentle correction, she is making good progress. Stella continues to have weakness in her hind legs but they do not seem to be in pain and doesn't stop her from enjoying running and playing. Her hip x-ray did not show any signs of problems. She had bad allergies and skin infections upon first arrival, but with a beef diet and allergy medicine, this issue is nearly completely resolved. Though needing a little extra love, Stella is such a sweetie and everyone that has met her has instantly fallen in love. If you have room in your heart and home, apply to meet miss Stellie.

Story
Freya! This beautiful girl found herself on the euthanasia list in a small, extremely underfunded shelter in New Mexico. She originally entered the shelter pregnant and unfortunately, gave birth there. All of her puppies passed away as often happens to pups born into these environments. Freya’s time was limited (due to space) when a volunteer happened to notice her and gave us a call. This sweet girl is approx 2-3 years old. She LOVES the snow she’s found here in Colorado and has adapted beautifully to living in a home. Freya is dog friendly and gentle with adults and kids she’s been around. One of her favorite things to do is sit down and offer her front paws up to her foster mom for hugs. Don’t let this sweetie pass you by! Freya is being fostered in Mead, Colorado. *We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs. * You can view this wonderful dog at https://www.milehighcanine.org/post/dogs/freya/. Story
Good golly Grady! Just look at this handsome, fluffy, mug. Grady is a 7 month old, male, Great Pyrenees mix. He LOVES his human kids and canine friends. His foster mom frequently finds him up in the swing set with the whole gang. Grady is big and clumsy. He’s stubborn, like Pyrs can be, but he’s smart, too. Grady uses a doggie door and he’s working on making positive associations with his crate. He much prefers the fluffy dog bed next to his foster mom’s side at night. If you’re looking for a family dog and have a large yard, Grady is the guy for you. Grady is being fostered in Brighton, Colorado. *We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs. * You can view this wonderful dog at https://www.milehighcanine.org/post/dogs/grady/.
