Story
Hi, I’m Lylah! I’m a friendly and playful girl looking for a patient and active home where I can thrive. I tend to forget my size sometimes, so I’d do best in a mature home. I show discomfort towards other dogs so slow and proper introductions are important. I may do best with a calm dog versus high energy. I love squeaky toys, rope toys, and, most of all, cuddles! Bonus: I’d make an awesome hiking buddy.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. He has very good manners in the house. As soon as he gets to know people, like our volunteers, he loves them and wants affection. He loves to go on walks/hikes and likes to be brushed. Gringo is a strong dog but when he gets to know somebody, he wants to sit in your lap. He can be a real goof ball! Per his previous owners he loves food, not picky at all! He doesn’t care much for toys, would rather play with his family or other dogs  Gringo loves to be loved on and cuddle/snuggle whenever he gets the chance  He is a wonderful, smart and funny boy.  He can be very protective of his family.   Gringo needs slow introductions, potential adopters would do best having several meet and greets so he can feel more comfortable and facilitate a transition to a new home. Gringo needs a yard with above ground fencing, preferably 6 foot  NO UNDERGROUND FENCING! NO APARTMENTS, CONDOS OR TOWNHOMES    Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 24, 2024, 8:56 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Ruby was transferred to Pyrescue from the Humane Society in Hays, KS  Ruby had been at the shelter for quite a while with not much interest  Ruby is said to be shy at first but once she trusts you she is a big love bug.  She likes to sit with her family and snooze the day away! In her previous home she was said to escape her kennel and go exploring, therefore, Ruby's yard will need very secure fencing.  Ruby is NOT good with cats.  She can be a bit nervous around men, her future adopters will need to be patient to gain her trust.  Potential adopters may do best to schedule a few meet and greets so she can get to know you and feel more comfortable and to facilitate the transition to her new home. Ruby has had some basic training and knows "sit" and "stay". Ruby is known to be an escape artist, therefore, will need TALL above ground fencing, preferably 6 foot. She can climb fences as well! Fence may need to include hot wire. NO UNDERGROUND FENCING!
