With urgency due to a medical condition with my fiancé, his main owner, in our home, we are unable to keep our beloved Judd. He is a Great Pyrness Lab mix weighing about 120 pounds. He’s a 5 year old, beautiful, big boy with a lot of personality, love and is very protective of his owners and house. We’ve started to train him and he responds well but he needs more training in the future. He is crate trained and enjoys it. He’d be best as the only dog in the home and with kids 10 years and older. He loves belly rubs, walks, going to Petsmart, playing in a big backyard, camping (from the last foster). This is a very urgent situation. Some pets are in foster homes or may already have an appointment scheduled, so the appointment is important to make sure I will be available to meet you when you come. Polk County Humane Society is located in Bolivar, Missouri, but also makes transports to the Denver, CO, Des Moines, IA and St. Louis areas twice monthly. For potential adopters in those areas, we can do a virtual visit using FaceTime or another app. Just request an appointment using the same link, but note that you want the visit to be virtual. For long distance transports to Colorado and Iowa, there is an additional $100 fee to cover the cost of the transport ($65) and a health certificate from a veterinarian ($35).
