Story
In Colorado, Tabitha is approx 2-4 yrs old and 60 lbs. A typical Great Pyrenees mix, Tabitha bonds very quickly and strongly to her people. She remembers who her people are and likes to give hugs after being away from them. Tabitha would love to find a rural home with property to protect and patrol by day and a cozy bed inside to snuggle on when she is ready to call it a day. Tabitha will do well with another friendly and laid back dog companion or as an only pet in her home. With Tabitha’s foster family traveling for the winter, she is in need of a safe place to land and she would really like it to be her final stop. If interested in speaking with Tabitha’s foster mom in Lakewood, please apply to foster/adopt at: mountainpetrescue.orgNovember 13, 2024, 11:28 am

Story
Meet Peter! This sweet and lovable Great Pyrenees mix is approx 4 yrs old and 80-90lbs. Rescued as a stray in rough physical shape, Peter settled right into his foster home. Per his foster mom 'Peter is a perfect gentleman in the house. He likes stuffed toys and loves to be brushed! He is very gentle and sweet to everyone and everything he meets including other dogs and kids.' Peter was rescued with an old injury that has healed on its own and, while it does not appear to be painful or keep him from playing, we do not want him to overdo it. MPR is willing to provide him with the medical care he needs to live a happy life, we just need a safe and loving person/family willing to love him forever and help him heal. If interested in meeting Peter, apply at mountainpetrescue.orgNovember 13, 2024, 4:59 pm

Story
**Adoptions are currently by appointment only. If you're interested in adopting, please start by clicking the "Apply for Adoption" button above** Odi the Magnificent is what they call me. I may be a large, regal looking guy but in reality I'm just a big softy that likes to get goofy with my friends. I am a bit sensitive so loud noises like thunder easily startle me and it does take me a moment to trust new people but once we get past the initial introductions we'll be best friends for life! If you have room in your home for a big drooly fluff ball then submit a survey and/or give C.A.R.E. a call to schedule an appointment.
