Well hello there! Meet Trooper & Huckleberry, two majestic Great Pyrenees. How to describe them? Gentle, sweet, loving, and lazy as can be most of the time-ha! We have 1 acre here in Riverside that backs right up to wildlife so they love patrolling the perimeter and making sure coyotes stay at bay. They are phenomenal guardian dogs. They are WONDERFUL with children; the pyr breed is one of the most tolerant and gentle breeds of all dogs and it shows in their daily life. They are indoor/outdoor dogs but sturdy enough to live on a farm. I rescued them approx 2 years ago with the assumption we would stay on our property. Due to unforeseen changes, we will be leaving the property we currently own and, unfortunately, cannot take them. I made them a promise to find them an amazing home, and I am committed to ensuring they are placed with someone who will cherish them as much as I do. What they need: to stay together, a large property or farm, lots of love and treats.

Tengu is a sweet, goofy XL puppy. He is in foster with other dogs but is dog-selective and has an “alpha” personality. He prefers to be where his humans are - chilling out watching tv, helping you cook, following you to the bathroom, playing fetch in the backyard - and would love a home with hiking, camping, and family adventures. He loves following you around like a shadow, but can also be overprotective of his humans, typical of guardian breeds. He can be reactive on leash around strangers, so an experienced handler ready to train is a must.
