Kimbas original owner adopted her from a puppy. She passed away suddenly in feb 2024. Her current foster took her in immediately. It was planned to be a permanent homing situation but can see it’s not a good fit with another dog. She was an only child, and now being 1 of 5 pets isn’t given as much attention as she’s used too. Kimba would be great in a home without other dogs. She’s always been around cats and doesn’t notice them much. She’s a very chill dog as long as she gets her daily walks in. She’s not food aggressive, she will switch plates with her brother. But she prefers to not share bones.

Average weight can be 100lbs. or more. They bark, shed and have a wanderlust, so secure fences are a must have. They are NOT off leash dogs and a Pyr off leash is called a "dis'a'Pyr".
