We acquired Waylon from a breeder in Coarsegold, CA from a who lives on a large ranch. Waylon is extremely sweet and loving! He needs a large space, we currently have 5 acres but are moving to a much smaller property. He is 135 lbs and loves affection!

Meet Bailey!-7 year old Great Pyrenees mix (breed is simply a guess!)-Weighs around 100lbs-Came into the Shelter as an owner surrender after previous guardian could no longer care for-Surrendered with Cisco A317633. Could be adopted together but not required-Typical of Livestock Guardian Breeds, Cisco does bark to alert of people approaching a property as well as when he hears cars go by-Lived in a home with teens, men and women previously-History of being left alone outdoors as well as inside and crated-Has gotten along with other dogs out in the world but can be reactive to other dogs on leash and/or behind a barrier-Not recommended to go to a home with small animals or cats due to observed prey drive in the previous home-Knows “sit”, “down”, and “shake”-Enjoys going for car rides -Bailey`s adoption has been sponsored by a generous donor!Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.

I am so sad to post this... I have made the difficult decision to re-home my dog Cairo. He was my service dog in training but unfortunately he flunked out of being a suitable working dog. He is extremely well trained (all basic commands), and is the biggest goofball there is. I love him so much but due to my medical needs, I am unable to keep him since he is unable to be my service dog any longer. About Cairo Age: 1 year old Medical: Neutered , Vaccinations up to date , early signs of hip dysplasia Animals: Would love to be in a home with dogs!
