In the heart of this charming and affectionate canine lies a world of love waiting to be shared. This handsome pup is making strides in the realm of house training, with a commendable record of no recent accidents. Patience and positive reinforcement are key ingredients in helping him master this skill. Bud is a quick learner, currently focusing on refining his leash manners. The world outside is still a new and exciting place for him, and he tends to get a bit overexcited. With consistent training and gentle guidance, Bud is sure to become a well-behaved and delightful walking companion. Check out Bud's video playlist: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLVb0fq1O6CwmhUPkFapWCSADJxONiGvsy Bud's vibrant personality shines through in every interaction. Playful, vocal, and endlessly affectionate, he is the epitome of joy in canine form. His sense of humor is infectious, and he thrives on making those around him smile. Bud is a true lover, reveling in the joy of being close to his human companions. His favorite pastimes include short walks, engaging in play with other dogs, cuddling on the couch, and, of course, the simple pleasure of sniffing the world around him. When it comes to toys, Bud has a particular affinity for squeaky stuffed toys that capture his attention and bring out his playful side. He is a moderate-energy pup who appreciates the balance of activity and relaxation, making him a versatile companion for various lifestyles. Bud's current living situation involves both small and large canine companions, as well as a cat who understands the intricacies of sharing a space with a dog. His adaptability and amiable nature make him a seamless fit for households with other furry residents. In summary, Bud is not just a dog; he's a bundle of joy waiting to enrich the lives of those lucky enough to welcome him into their homes. With a heart full of love, a playful spirit, and a desire for companionship, Bud is ready to embark on a lifetime of shared adventures with a loving family. Story
**Teddy needs a foster or adopter asap! He is being impacted by a divorce that is not his fault. Transport is available to anywhere in the continental US for serious adopters** Teddy is a very special boy who needs a very special adopter. Teddy spent a significant amount of his life as a stray dog and he takes a long time to build trust in new humans. Once he trusts you, he is a total love bug. While building trust, he prefers to watch from a distance. Teddy is very smart and wants to be part of a family. He loves to run the perimeter of his foster yard and enjoys being both inside and outside. Over the last few months, he has built enough trust with his foster that he now likes to sleep beside or on her bed. Teddy loves to play in water and has a fun game of dumping water bowls and buckets whenever the mood suits him. Teddy currently lives with several dogs (both large and small) as well as cats. He does very well with other animals and is very careful to be gentle with his 6 pound Chihuahua friend and kitty friends. He also gets along great with his 110 pound husky foster brother. Teddy loves long walks or hikes, playing with other dogs and getting brushed. He is still working on feeling comfortable on the leash, but has made some good improvements while in foster care. He is mild-mannered and loves to settle down to chew on a crinkly toy, bone, or antler. Teddy is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations. All Better World Rescue dogs qualify for complimentary private and/or group training to help ensure a successful adoption. If you would like to meet Teddy to see if he is a good fit for your family, please fill out our short adoption application: www.betterworldrescue.org/adoption-application Upon receipt of your application, one of our passionate volunteers will call you within one business day to answer any questions and schedule a meet.
