Story

Nimbus is super friendly towards all humans, including little ones. He would benefit from having a large space to roam when he feels like it but he seems to prefer hanging with his people. He gets along well with female dogs and cats that he has been introduced to. He can be aggressive towards other male dogs. He is a barker as Great Pyrenees tend to be. I can imagine Nimbus would enjoy some livestock to watch over but I have not put that to the test. My wish for him is a loving person (or persons) who can spend time with him and provide him with some space to patrol.

APPLICANTS MUST LIVE IN THE CITY OF LOS ANGELES IN AN ADULT-ONLY HOME (NO APARTMENTS) WITH A PRIVATE YARD. RODEO is the definition of a Rhinestone Cowboy! Not only does he have stunning good looks, but his DNA results prove that he is quite a unique gem of Great Pyrenees/Aussie/Border Collie. Our rescue has been working with a certified professional dog trainer to help us get to know Rodeo and set him up for success. Rodeo is an incredible dog that would do best with an adopter that has experience with the large working breeds and structure in the home. He would not be a good dog for a first-time dog owner. Mostly comprised of Great Pyrenees, he has the potential to be protective of his family. He doesn’t know his own strength and size at times, so we have been working on him staying calm and focusing on his handler. Because of Rodeo’s grand stature, he would require a home with a yard (NOT AN APARTMENT) and no small children that he could inadvertently knock over or small pets. Rodeo estimated date of birth is January, 2019. He is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped and whoever is lucky enough to adopt this rooty tooty cowboy will get an in-home dog training lesson as part of his adoption. Jolene and her babies will be ready at the end of October, beginning of November, when they have been altered and up to date on shots and micro-chipped. There are 7 boys and 2 girls plus Momma Jolene. Adoption fees for the Puppies will be $650.00 and Jolene's fee will be $500.00. We are currently accepting applications. The goodest of boys! This is Cannoli... a wonderful family dog. He would do great with an active family. He is a little bit clumsy, so probably no wee ones. He is a dream on a leash, crate trained, very respectful when out and about. Loves cuddles and other dogs. He goes to the dog park and has a blast. He is a couple years old and weighs 76 pounds. All dogs in our program are up to date on all their shots, spayed or neutered, and micro chipped. Our dogs are in foster homes which enables us to learn more about them in a home environment. We do not place dogs on a first come first serve basis, but rather to the home best suited for them. An application, adoption fee and contract are required. Well, we ended up here after a hilarious mix-up at the annual Cow and Horse fair. You see, we were having a blast, playing fetch with the cowboys, when suddenly, we found ourselves in a cattle drive! We kept up with the cows, showing off our energy and playfulness. The fair folks mistook our enthusiasm for a job application and sent me to the rescue for 'professional training'.
