Ellie is a beautiful 3 year old great pyrenees. Dont let her good looks fool you, she's very sweet but tough and would thrive with an owner who has the time and physical strength to keep her at her best behavior. She does well with other dogs and children and would absolutely love a playmate or playmates to roughhouse with. As a 97 pound working dogs she needs some space to patrol and protect. She does not do well with other types of animals.

Jolene and her babies were left tied to the front door and babies in a box. just hour old at the local shelter. Jolene and her babies will be ready at the end of October, beginning of November, when they have been altered and up to date on shots and micro-chipped. There are 7 boys and 2 girls plus Momma Jolene. Adoption fees for the Puppies will be $650.00 and Jolene's fee will be $500.00. We are currently accepting applications. Lily Rose is a gorgeous 5 month old female Great Pyrenees who was discovered as a stray hiding under a truck and covered in oil. Once this little girl was rescued by one of our rescuers Tina and all cleaned up, her beautiful fluffy white coat shined through. She is absolutely adorable and all things lovable puppy. She has a playful spirit, loves her walks, and loves to play with other dogs. She’s good with kids. We hold an event every weekend at our facility on SATURDAY and SUNDAY 11-5pm and open to the public. It is first come first serve we do not evaluate applications prior to an event. If there are multiple interested parties in the same dog or puppy at the same time we would pick the best out of the 10 applications. RODEO HAS GOTTEN ALONG WITH DOGS WE HAVE INTRODUCED HIM TO THAT ARE HIS OWN SIZE. PROPER INTRODUCTION WOULD BE NEEDED TO EVALUATE IF HE'S GOING TO GET ALONG WITH AN EXISTING DOG IN A HOME BUT BECAUSE OF HIS SIZE AND STRENGTH, WE BELIEVE HE WOULD BE A GOOD MATCH FOR A DOG HIS SIZE. APPLICANTS MUST LIVE IN THE CITY OF LOS ANGELES IN AN ADULT-ONLY HOME (NO APARTMENTS) WITH A PRIVATE YARD. RODEO is the definition of a Rhinestone Cowboy! Not only does he have stunning good looks, but his DNA results prove that he is quite a unique gem of Great Pyrenees/Aussie/Border Collie. Our rescue has been working with a certified professional dog trainer to help us get to know Rodeo and set him up for success. Rodeo is an incredible dog that would do best with an adopter that has experience with the large working breeds and structure in the home. He would not be a good dog for a first-time dog owner. Mostly comprised of Great Pyrenees, he has the potential to be protective of his family. He doesn’t know his own strength and size at times, so we have been working on him staying calm and focusing on his handler. Because of Rodeo’s grand stature, he would require a home with a yard (NOT AN APARTMENT) and no small children that he could inadvertently knock over or small pets. Rodeo estimated date of birth is January, 2019. He is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped and whoever is lucky enough to adopt this rooty tooty cowboy will get an in-home dog training lesson as part of his adoption. Butch and Sundance are two gorgeous GP boys that were picked up as strays in the town of Maricopa and brought to Taft shelter in Kern County. They are your perfect Great Pyrenees boys. They are around 3.5 months old. Weigh around 25 pounds. They are everything you think a GP should be. They are fun and puppy like, but super loving, independent and medium energy.Great family dogs! All dogs in our program are up to date on all their shots, spayed or neutered, and micro chipped. Our dogs are in foster homes which enables us to learn more about them in a home environment. We do not place dogs on a first come first serve basis, but rather to the home best suited for them. An application, adoption fee and contract are required.
