Story
Sunny is a gentle soul with a heart full of love, waiting for her second chance at happiness. After spending 557 days in the shelter due to a welfare case, this 80.8-pound 6-year-old sweetheart is ready to find her forever family. At first, Sunny may be a little shy and nervous, but beneath that quiet exterior lies a loving and calm dog who is beginning to open up to the world. She has made amazing progress with us, becoming more comfortable during walks. While she may not fully come out of her shell, one constant is her comfort around other dogs. She has her favorite spots in the house—typically a cozy couch or a human bed—where she enjoys spending her time in her own little retreat. We've even seen her initiate play with another dog, though these interactions tend to be brief. Sunny will require a bit of coaxing to go outside for potty breaks, but if you keep her on a regular schedule, she will consistently go right on cue. She is crate trained, though she is so laid-back that crating is unnecessary. We are looking for a patient, loving home where Sunny can enjoy a calm and relaxed life. She rarely barks and has been incredibly quiet during her time with us. Could you be the special family Sunny is searching for? After waiting so long for her forever home, she deserves the love and security that only a caring family can provide. Let’s give this beautiful girl the happy ending she’s been waiting for! Dog Rescue website and complete an adoption application: www.icaredogrescue.org/ready-to-adopt Adoption fee includes: spay/neuter • shots up to date • micro-chip • fecal and vet check Breeds and age are not guaranteed. Story
PLEASE READ BIO BEFORE APPLYING Sugar is an adorable 4-6 month old Great Pyrenees. She was dumped and left to die in a high kill shelter because she has Cerebellar hypoplasia. This is a neurological condition in dogs that affects the cerebellum, the part of the brain that controls balance, coordination, and motor skills so they tend to be wobbly and imbalanced, but they are the happiest sweetest dogs and can live a long and happy life. She is incredibly friendly, loves all people , she is playful with other dogs. She is so so special and lovable. She deserves a loving forever home. She can walk on her own , but also can use very little assistance with a harness. She can pee and poop on her own. We have many posts of her and her progress on our instagram and Facebook. Story
Meet Ocean Very sweet , loves all people , good with other dogs and very playful with proper introductions. This sweet boy found himself in a high kill shelter kenneled with another dog that he came in with. The other dog was adopted from the shelter. Ocean was terrified , scared of the leash , but still incredibly sweet with everyone. He is slowly learning to walk on leash. Walks very slow and gentle. Doesnt pull. He is potty trained. We are looking for a home who has experience with livestock guardian dogs. If interested in adopting, please apply on our website underdogheroes.org or email us at info@underdogheroes.org or adopt@underdogheroes.org with any questions.

Story
This is a courtesy listing, not a SPOT Rescue dog. For more information regarding Dottie, contact Brittany below... Meet Dottie! She is a 10 month old, 70lb Great Pyrenees/bully mix. She loves people and other dogs alike. She has not lived with cats, but has not shown aggression to the neighbor’s cat. She was found on hwy 76, and has been with a foster family since she was 5 months old. Dottie loves going to the park to run and play with other dogs, and playing fetch with her loud squeaky ball. She requires lots of exercise and stimulation. She is mostly leash trained but sometimes still gets very excited to see other people and dogs on walks. She knows how to sit, shake, and lay down on command, and she is potty trained. She would thrive at a home with people who can give her lots of attention, and especially a household with another big dog. Dottie currently has an older sister, but her older sister is much smaller, and Dottie can’t wrestle with her like she really wants to. She loves to cuddle and prefers to sleep in bed with her people, but she can also sleep in her own bed (as long as it’s in her human’s room). Dottie is spayed and microchipped.
