Story
We got Koda from a breeder in Camarillo for $600. He’s a guardian dog so he likes to spend his time mainly outside and protect. He is 1 and a half years old. Koda is very playful with people. He is well trained when it comes to sleeping in his crate, leash walking and obedience. He’s very food motivated. He’s quite stubborn which is expected from a Great Pyrenees. Unfortunately, my parents schedule and my schedule are quite busy which makes it very difficult for us to keep our sweet boy entertained and active on a daily basis. We are looking for a new home for our dog. Preferably a place with plenty of room to run around and play. He does shed a lot, so we brush him every other day or 2-3 times a week. We can provide an X-Large crate, brushes, toys, leashes and collars. He does bark when introduced to new people however, don’t let his deep bark fool you, he’s very loving and playful. We hope you take the time and consideration of getting a new dog to your home. Thank you.

Story
I am writing on behalf of my client who is seeking to rehome their six-month-old Great Pyrenees, Boomer. He was rescued in poor condition after being born outside and having minimal socialization, leading to behavioral challenges. Despite his sweet nature, Boomer is struggling to adapt. He tends to dominate during play and has become mouthy, which, combined with the presence of another young dog and children in the house, raises concerns about potential conflicts. Boomer has been treated for a severe flea infestation and a skin infection but remains skittish and fearful, sometimes trying to bite as a defense mechanism. We want to avoid a shelter situation for him, as it would be detrimental to his well-being. We are looking to place Boomer in a working ranch or sanctuary with someone experienced in handling Great Pyrenees. He does well with cats and livestock but needs a patient and loving owner who can help build his confidence and provide a safe environment.

Story
RODEO HAS GOTTEN ALONG WITH DOGS WE HAVE INTRODUCED HIM TO THAT ARE HIS OWN SIZE. PROPER INTRODUCTION WOULD BE NEEDED TO EVALUATE IF HE'S GOING TO GET ALONG WITH AN EXISTING DOG IN A HOME BUT BECAUSE OF HIS SIZE AND STRENGTH, WE BELIEVE HE WOULD BE A GOOD MATCH FOR A DOG HIS SIZE. APPLICANTS MUST LIVE IN THE CITY OF LOS ANGELES IN AN ADULT-ONLY HOME (NO APARTMENTS) WITH A PRIVATE YARD. RODEO is the definition of a Rhinestone Cowboy! Not only does he have stunning good looks, but his DNA results prove that he is quite a unique gem of Great Pyrenees/Aussie/Border Collie. Our rescue has been working with a certified professional dog trainer to help us get to know Rodeo and set him up for success. Rodeo is an incredible dog that would do best with an adopter that has experience with the large working breeds and structure in the home. He would not be a good dog for a first-time dog owner. Mostly comprised of Great Pyrenees, he has the potential to be protective of his family. He doesn’t know his own strength and size at times, so we have been working on him staying calm and focusing on his handler. Because of Rodeo’s grand stature, he would require a home with a yard (NOT AN APARTMENT) and no small children that he could inadvertently knock over or small pets. Rodeo estimated date of birth is January, 2019. He is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped and whoever is lucky enough to adopt this rooty tooty cowboy will get an in-home dog training lesson as part of his adoption. Now that’s something to YEE-HAW about! --- If you are interested in adopting Rodeo please fill out our adoption application by clicking this LINK. ➡️COURTESY post please text 818-378-8995 to foster or adopt⬅️ Brody is a sweet 2 yo Great Pyrenees who sadly was abandoned in boarding when a rescue group closed. He’s about 95 lbs, super sweet and so eager to find a home to call his own. Brody might be shy upon first meeting but you won’t find a more loyal companion… and boarding is not a place where he should be. Please share his post and help him find a home for the holidays.🙏🏼 Fixed, UTD on shots and ready for love! Text 818-378-8995 for more information. Thank you!!
