Story
******** THIS DOG IS NOT AT THE SHELTER******** THIS IS A COURTESY POST********CONTACT ROBERT RIOS AT (916) 307-1413********** This dog is no longer able to be housed due to the owner having unforeseen circumstances where he can no longer provide care. Koko has lived with other dogs and kids but seems to be a little fearful towards children. Koko enjoys playing out in the backyard and is vocal with people he sees going by. This is a great dog that loves to protect his home and is very loving once he is warmed up to you. He has all his vet records and would love a chance at a amazing new home. All animals are up-to-date on vaccinations (including rabies if over 4 months old), microchipped, and spayed or neutered. All dogs have been been vaccinated with DHPP and Bordatella (kennel cough) and heartworm tested negative (if over 6 months).    All cats have been vaccinated with FVRCP and current on flea control. Story
Meet Cindy Lou! Cindy Lou is a 2-year-old, 61-pound bundle of love who was brought to us as a stray. While we think she may have had a brush with a car, she’s doing just fine now and is ready to find her forever family! This sweet girl is a total love bug, adored by our volunteers for her affectionate nature and excellent leash manners. Cindy Lou has some evidence of flea allergic dermatitis, so consistent flea control will be key to keeping her happy and healthy. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who’s as loving as she is resilient, Cindy Lou might just be the perfect match! Come meet Cindy Lou or any of her furry friends at Yolo County Animal Shelter. Story
- Sweet adult dog with a puppy-like spirit - Lovable goofball who makes us laugh out loud every day - Our vet thinks he is 3-5 yrs old. May be a dwarf Grt Pyr. or a Golden Rtv. mix - He is too big and active for us. He needs an energetic owner with the strength to keep up with him HE DESERVES A GREAT MATCH! - A big, strong dog in a medium sized body - Currently full grown. 50 Pounds. About 20 inches tall - Excellent table manners - Alert watchdog. Cautious of strangers. - Lovey-dovey with his family. Adores belly rubs - Indoors, loves his crate, chairs, or stretches out across the floor - Needs a large, securely fenced yard, with room to run - Rescued. Loves to roam; May bolt if given the chance - LOVES walks; Must be on-leash with a strong handler - Does well with our 30 lb, submissive dog, but needs careful intro’s to new dogs, especially large dogs - Strong-willed. Good with firm rules, routine, ongoing training - A bit mouthy at times. Too big and strong for young children.

Story
I am re-homing this beautiful sweet and loving one year old Great Pyranees-mix. She would make a perfect family dog. She gets along with children of all ages, other dogs, and cats. She is a little shy at first but quickly warms up. There is no sign of aggression in her. She adapts to new environments easily as long as she feels accepted. She is very smart. She has no health issues. She had great interactions with all my family members. She is crate trained and house broken. She is spayed, vaccinated, and current with Flea meds. She weighs 53 pounds. She is updated on vaccinations. She is being offered for free as per this groups rules. I just want more than anything for her to go to a good loving home. It would be ideal if she has a yard to run around in. Located in Benicia.

Story
Sunny days are here for our sweet girl Sunny! She had a rough start in life, but we were able to rescue her and things have been looking up ever since!!! Sunny is around 7-8 mos old and we think she is a purebred Pyr. She is super sweet but she also has her protective side. We think she would be a great guardian dog but she has not been tested. She is fostered with many other dogs and loves to play but can get protective around her humans. She is super food motivated for easy training. She loves to be outside and has indoor/outdoor access thru a doggy door. She is doing great on her potty training. If you are interested in meeting Sunny please fill out an application https://www.ozziespoundpuppies.org/applications/adoption-application/ Adoption fee is $300 and includes spay, vaccines, microchip and Nexgard.
