Story
Apollo is 1 almost 2 years old. His birthday is October 10th. He is super sweet and has a big personality. The king of side eyes if you get up and move to a new spot. He loves to cuddle next to you on the couch or by your feet. He is very calm for only being a year old. When he gets his zoomies make sure to not have liquids by technology. He doesn't realize how big he is and can knock some things over if not left high enough. He has three favorite toys and enjoys wearing shirts from time to time. Apollo is kennel-trained, but can be hard to handle on a leash. He loves making new friends, whether its people or other animals. He always likes to say hello.

Story
Location: San Diego, CA Meet George! This big, beautiful boy was saved from South Korea in 2022 when he was approximately two years old. His original owner, left him tied up outside on a short chain, all alone in the middle of nowhere, with very little food or water. Eventually, locals were able to negotiate his release and got George into our care. After extensive vetting, training, and care, George was then adopted to one of our previous adopters, who had a female Golden also rescued by us. George lived with them for a year and a half before behavioral issues presented that the family was not able to work through such as food and resource guarding with the Dad who worked out of the home. We feel he was protecting the Mom he was home with all day which did lead to a one-time bite resulting in his surrender.  We, of course, took George back right away and transported him from Florida to San Diego, CA, where he’s currently at the training facility. George has been nothing but an angel with everyone he has met and has shown zero signs of aggression or unmanageable behavior. He was transported across the USA with zero issues, his driver wanted to instantly adopt him and would have if he wasn't on the road 24/7! Like most GP, George is easily misunderstood by those not familiar with the breed, especially if he is not working or busy. We found out that his adoptive family was not walking him or giving him the mental stimulation we feel he needed, which is a bad idea for any dog, let alone a Guardian Breed like George. We are confident that with the right environment and leader, this sweet boy will shine! Our dream home for George is one that loves and understands his breed, someone that lives an active life that will keep George thriving and happy. Overall, George is an angel. He loves chasing balls, bubbles, and shadows. He is big and strong, but there is not a mean bone in his body, and his behavior is not aggressive. George is scared of thunder and still gets a bit upset with loud noises, such as big trucks or motorcycles so he would likely not do well in a city environment, but he is doing a lot better after consistent work with our trainers. George has been with our professional trainers for a few months now, but we are eager to get him into a home all of his own! If you know would like to be considered for George, please get in touch today so we can assess if your home could be the right one for him! Our group is heavily focused on rehabbing dogs from trauma so please only apply if you understand that George has come from a traumatic past and that he cannot be quit on ever again! He has already lost 2 families and that cannot happen ever again. If you would love to love this sweet boy forever, please apply on our website below! https://bunnysbuddies.org

Story
Age: 2 years old Gender: Female Breed: Great Pyrenees mix Weight: 66 lbs Personality: Shelby is a sweet, silly girl who is the best of both worlds! She adores her humans, kids, and her pooch pack. When it’s time to turn the energy up she’s a fun, playful girl. However, once it’s time to mellow out she’s pawfectly content lounging and relaxing at home. She’s lovable and loyal through and through! Education: This sweet girl was born with a condition that led to urinary incontinence. This may have been the end of her road, but TAP could see how special she is and stepped up to rescue her. She has undergone multiple procedures with TAP and is now ready to find a family of her own! She is house and bathroom trained and wears diapers when needed to help with any dribbling. Shelby is a smart cookie who is crate-trained and does well on the leash. She adores her pack but may be hesitant or a bit vocal around new friends/unusual sounds. Once she knows the coast is clear she warms right up! Favorite Activities: Shelby’s happy place is with her family. She loves playing with her furry pals and cuddling with the kids. She adores being outside, her toys, and getting out for walks. Like any good girl, she is also a big fan of her beauty rest. Looking for: Since Shelby is such a sweetheart, she would do well in a variety of homes. She would love other pups she can play with or go out for doggy playdates. She likes to chase cats, so they probably wouldn't be the best roommates. Shelby needs a loving human who is dedicated to her long-term care. She pawmises to love you for the long haul!l Special needs: Shelby will need monitoring with an established vet for her long-term urinary care. Adoption Fee: $ 350 ##1602168##

Story
Honey-brown eyes that will melt your heart! Howdy, y’all! My name is Bean, and I’m a 3-year-old, 120-pound Great Pyrenees spayed female. I’ve come all the way from Riverside Shelter, where I was rescued by TAP just in time before I was set to get euthanized. I’m grateful for this second chance at life and cannot wait to live life to the fullest in my furever home! As far as my training goes, I’m completely potty-trained and leash-trained. I sit on command, am working on “lay down”, “stay”, and “come” and still working on leash reactivity. I am a sweet, loving and calm girl who is friendly to every human I meet! I love physical contact - and holding your hand! I take my job of protecting the house very seriously when my humans are gone and I am on alert for any unusual noises and will bark them away. I prefer getting love from my humans over playing with toys. I am dog selective and need to be the only dog in the home. I require a strong leader and dedicated owner who will continue my progress in leash training and working on my desensitization on seeing dogs near my territory, and redirecting my attention. I have responded to positive reinforcement training and I am going to be working on muzzle training as well to continue to be the best girl!  I love to lay around and soak up all the love and pets from my humans, but I also have a playful and adventurous side to me, too. I prefer leisurely strolls and several shorter walks throughout the day. I am an easy going girl, and while I’d prefer to have company and attention most of the day, I am A-OK on my own, and show no signs of separation anxiety when you leave. Please get in my cardio and exercise before leaving, and have a nice snuffle mat or food puzzle to keep me entertained while alone. I do need to lose some weight and am on a new weight management program to get back to my ideal weight. I want to be healthy, so I cannot indulge in too many treats these days! My adoption fee is $350 and that includes spaying/neutering, shots, and microchip. If you want to take me home, please fill out the form on the website here: https://theanimalpad.org/adoption-application/. ##1733844##
