Nimbus is a gentle & friendly Great Pyrenees that entered the shelter as a stray on 1/28/24, he arrived very skinny & underweight with infected ears and one of them bleeding. He arrived with the name Nimbus on his registered microchip, but sadly all the contact information is no longer up to date leaving the shelter with no way to locate his mom & dad of his whereabouts. Sunny is a gentle soul with a heart full of love, waiting for her second chance at happiness. After spending 557 days in the shelter due to a welfare case, this 80.8-pound 6-year-old sweetheart is ready to find her forever family. At first, Sunny may be a little shy and nervous, but beneath that quiet exterior lies a loving and calm dog who is beginning to open up to the world. She has made amazing progress with us, becoming more comfortable during walks. While she may not fully come out of her shell, one constant is her comfort around other dogs. She has her favorite spots in the house—typically a cozy couch or a human bed—where she enjoys spending her time in her own little retreat. We've even seen her initiate play with another dog, though these interactions tend to be brief. Sunny will require a bit of coaxing to go outside for potty breaks, but if you keep her on a regular schedule, she will consistently go right on cue. She is crate trained, though she is so laid-back that crating is unnecessary. We are looking for a patient, loving home where Sunny can enjoy a calm and relaxed life. I can't say enough good things about Buddy. I wish I could keep him. This poor boy was dumped off the side of a desolite highway in the mountains in the early morning hours along with his dog house. A friend found him hiding in the bushes and brought him to our rescue. When I first saw him, I thought "oh my, he's going to eat my dogs"...turns out that Buddy is one of the most sweetest dogs I've ever rescued. He loves the other dogs and ESPECIALLY little puppies. I have a bottle baby that he sleeps next to making sure no other dogs bother him. He cleans him and loves on him. I'm attaching a video of him along with two other little puppies we have. Buddy is housetrained, crate trained and extremely obedient. He also loves to cuddle next to me at night. Buddy is now neutered, fully vaccinated (rabies included), received a dental and is microchipped. Buddy's adoption fee is $450.
