Story
Meet Goose - The Giant Lovebug and Protector Extraordinaire Goose is a larger-than-life Great Pyrenees with a heart as big as his paws. Despite his size, Goose is gentle and affection. A true lovebug at heart, he thrives on cuddles, snuggles, and endless belly rubs. His boundless love knows no bounds, and he has an uncanny ability to bring joy to everyone he meets. Goose's working-dog DNA runs deep, and he's always ready to spring into action to protect his domain. Whether it's chasing after deer, squirrels, or moles, Goose takes his role as guardian of the yard very seriously. His strong instincts and impressive athleticism mean that he can clear a fence with ease in pursuit of his quarry, so a taller barrier is a must. He can be pushy in play groups and due to prey drive NO livestock, cats or dogs under 20 pounds. While Goose revels in the great outdoors, he's also enjoys comfort and coziness. At the first sign of rain or wind, or simply when he's ready for some snuggle time, Goose will politely demand to be let indoors, where he can relax in style. In recent times, Goose has been expanding his horizons with regular walks, though he still has a penchant for pulling with his considerable strength. Patience and consistency are key as he continues his training journey. When it comes to socializing, Goose is a mixed bag. While he adores other big dogs and enjoys hours of rough-and-tumble play, he can be wary of new environments and visitors, especially smaller dogs. However, his gentle nature shines through when it comes to children, who are drawn to him like a magnet. Adults also can't resist Goose's charm, making him a beloved fixture wherever he goes. In addition to his love for people and play, Goose has a special fondness for car rides. His enthusiasm knows no bounds, and he's always ready to hop in at a moment's notice, making him the perfect companion for someone who loves to take their furry friend on adventures. Despite his reluctance for baths, Goose is a model patient when it comes to flea and heartworm prevention, ensuring he stays healthy and happy for years to come. With his larger-than-life personality and heartwarming demeanor, Goose is more than just a dog - he's a cherished member of the family and a beacon of love and loyalty to all who know him. Apply to adopted this wonderful dog today! Goose is currently in foster care and will remain there until adopted!

Story
This is Hopper he is a sweet, loving, gentle giant. The reason for his name hopper is because he is neurologically different but still smart and ready to learn. His neurological difference only appears to affect the way he walks (hopping) and the way he eats; he eats with his tongue out but that does not slow down how much this boy eats. He has been around a few of the kids who volunteer at Family Dog and he has been sweet and loving towards them all! He has gotten along with all dogs he has been around since he has been here. He currently plays with the little dogs durning the day. If you are wanting a sweet, gentle, fluffy big dog in your life he's the man for you!!

This girl is a certified guardian dog expert. We think she would live her best life on a farm getting to do what she knows best. She was friendly when meeting another dog her size. She would love a calm, easy going family to give her a task to do. We are recommending she go into a home with children 15 years and older. We are recommending her new family have some sort of livestock guarding dog experience.
