Story
We got Koda from a breeder in Camarillo for $600. He’s a guardian dog so he likes to spend his time mainly outside and protect. He is 1 and a half years old. Koda is very playful with people. He is well trained when it comes to sleeping in his crate, leash walking and obedience. He’s very food motivated. He’s quite stubborn which is expected from a Great Pyrenees. Unfortunately, my parents schedule and my schedule are quite busy which makes it very difficult for us to keep our sweet boy entertained and active on a daily basis. We are looking for a new home for our dog. Preferably a place with plenty of room to run around and play. He does shed a lot, so we brush him every other day or 2-3 times a week. We can provide an X-Large crate, brushes, toys, leashes and collars. He does bark when introduced to new people however, don’t let his deep bark fool you, he’s very loving and playful. We hope you take the time and consideration of getting a new dog to your home. Thank you.

Story
I am writing on behalf of my client who is seeking to rehome their six-month-old Great Pyrenees, Boomer. He was rescued in poor condition after being born outside and having minimal socialization, leading to behavioral challenges. Despite his sweet nature, Boomer is struggling to adapt. He tends to dominate during play and has become mouthy, which, combined with the presence of another young dog and children in the house, raises concerns about potential conflicts. Boomer has been treated for a severe flea infestation and a skin infection but remains skittish and fearful, sometimes trying to bite as a defense mechanism. We want to avoid a shelter situation for him, as it would be detrimental to his well-being. We are looking to place Boomer in a working ranch or sanctuary with someone experienced in handling Great Pyrenees. He does well with cats and livestock but needs a patient and loving owner who can help build his confidence and provide a safe environment.
