Jethro & Elly May — A Love Story in Two Dogs 🤍 When Elly May came into rescue she was fighting for her life. Distemper. Touch and go for weeks. But her brother Jethro never left her side — and we believe he's the reason she made such a complete and remarkable recovery! These two have never spent a day apart, and they never should. Jethro is a big galumph who thinks he's a lapdog. Elly May is a goofy princess who survived because her brother wouldn't give up on her. Together they are gentle, loving, and completely devoted — to each other and to their people. They'll cuddle up, check in on each other during walks, and shower you with affection like it's their full time job. These are not couch potato dogs — they are strong, smart, and built for a purpose. As Pyrenees mixes, they are natural guardians who would thrive on a farm or ranch protecting livestock, or with an active family who loves hiking, running, and outdoor adventure. They are incredibly intelligent and would respond beautifully to advanced training. Their ideal home has: -- Large securely fenced yard or acreage -- Space to roam and a doggy door -- Experience with large or independent breeds -- Ideally no other dogs in the home, or appropriate intro to dogs of similar size -- People who are home enough to give them the attention they deserve They are currently located in Los Angeles but we will help coordinate transport for the right family — including to the Pacific Northwest where their big fluffy energy is basically a lifestyle requirement. If you have the room, the love, and the adventure in your heart for this pair — please reach out. They've already proven they can get through anything together. They just need someone to open the door. Contact Come & Stay Dog Rescue to learn more or arrange a meet and greet. There is some urgency as their current foster family is moving out of state shortly. Please contact at: information@comeandstay.org.🐾

✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to LAX💟 The prices listed are based on USD, and the adoption fee will be calculated in CAD according to the exchange rate. Meet Yeoreum💕 (her name means “Summer” in Korean) 💙 Adogs News Account : @_adogs_ 1⃣ Health Condition * Spayed. * Microchipped and hearworm negative. 2⃣ Rescue Story * Yeoreum is one of the dogs that the Adogs team rescued from a dogslaughter farm in 2022. Spending a long time there, she was about to be slaughtered, but Adogs was able to rescue her just in the nick of time. 3⃣ Basic Information * With People: Has a calm and timid personality and is slow to adapt to new environments. When strangers approach her, she tends to avoid them and leaves the area. Previously, she had to be cornered for touching to be possible, but has recently become more comfortable with pets. Still, she doesn’t stay still and tries to get away if strangers pick her up. Also runs away from familiar people, but she can be leashed and touched when cornered. Accepts treats if you drop it on the ground. * With Dogs: If a dog approaches too energetically or annoys her, she growls and snarls to express her displeasure. May bite other dogs so caution is needed. * With Cats: Shows no reaction to cats she encounters during walks and focuses on the person walking with her. * Separation Anxiety: Not confirmed yet since she lives communally with other dogs at our center. May need basic training in a home environment. * Potty Training: Unknown, since she lives communally at our center. * Hygiene: Was given a bath after getting dirty on a walk, and calmly accepted it! * Walks: Runs away and avoids the leash, but once the leash is actually on, she follows her handler well on walks. * Car Sickness: Does not show any symptoms of motion sickness during short distances, like when going to the veterinary clinic. Unclear how she would do on long-distance trips. * Biting: When another dog suddenly approaches and gets too pushy, she growls to tell them to stop. * Likes: Has a strong appetite and loves to eat. Enjoys resting indoors alone. Has had extended kennel training so she is able to handle long periods of crating, such as if she goes on an airplane or on a long drive. * Dislikes: Gets surprised and runs away when people approach, but accepts pets calmly once you actually manage to touch her.

Story
Meet Chance! A seven-year-old Great Pyrenees/Siberian Husky mix currently in Porterville, CA, whose striking eyes and calm, laidback presence make every day feel a little more peaceful. This handsome large boy weighs about 95 pounds and carries his dark brown and tan coat like a gentle guardian of the backyard and the couch alike. Chance thrives in a family environment, does well with children, and truly loves being near his people. Whether he is resting at your feet, supervising dinner preparations from his designated kitchen doorway spot, or softly snoring in his crate, his steady companionship is a gift. He is house-trained, neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and even has transferable pet insurance to support his continued care. He settles very well when left alone and politely lets you know when it is time for a potty break. As a herding breed mix, Chance is wonderfully attuned to his surroundings. He may gently nudge with his nose to “help” guide you, and he benefits from clear boundaries and structured routines, especially around food. He is ruled by his nose and enjoys relaxed daily walks, including long 'sniffaris' where he can investigate every tree and lamppost. He does beautifully both on and off leash with familiar dogs and is compatible with other dogs and cats. In fact, he currently coexists peacefully with neighborhood cats and has even shared playful moments with them. Chance is an early riser around 5:00 to 5:30 a.m., appreciates consistent mealtimes, enjoys car rides, loves his drinking water, and requires regular grooming, including care for his extra dewclaws. He is not a frequent barker, though he will offer a big alert if someone approaches. He knows an impressive list of commands such as sit, stay, down, come, roll over, shake, go lay down, walk fast, and even “time for bed.” Chance has a small patch of hair loss on his tail. A veterinarian evaluated it and an allergy shot was tried without effect, but he shows no other concerning symptoms and appears comfortable and healthy. He receives regular dental chews and ongoing routine care. If you can offer companionship, structure and a cozy indoor sleeping space, could Chance be the loyal friend you have been hoping for?
