Story
Oh Stanley! How perfect you are! We are uncertain of where you came from but it is apparent you had been raised to be a sweet well adjusted fellow. We are uncertain of his exact mix, but he appears to have SOME Pyrenees in him. Stanley is people and dog friendly. He is a calm, loveable, beautiful guy who would be a great addition to anyone's home. He is calm even when dogs are barking frantically at him! How wonderful is that! Stanley is housebroken and would love nothing more than to have a nice bed to curl up in this winter. He does know some basic behaviors but isn't the best walking on a leash. Although he is calm, he likes to decide where to go and what to smell and for how long. However, he can be easily encouraged along with some enthusiasm and some tasty treats! Other Dogs : Yes Cats: Don't know Kids: Yes, maybe 10+ Apartment: yes Walks: Yes please! New People: No issues -------------------------------------------------------------------- At City of Vancouver Animal Services, we have a foster-to-adopt program whereby prospective new owners foster the adoptable animal for 21 days before committing to adoption. Story
✅️Currently fostered in South Korea✅️ Meet Yeoreum💕 (It means summer in Korean) * Toward People: Likes people, but lacks sufficient familiarity. Is not used to be petted, but she would open up to people if they pet her often and gently!🩷 * Toward Dogs: Has a good relationship with others! Gets along well with other dogs.🥰 * Separation Anxiety & Potty Training: Does outdoor potty at the Adogs center. 💌Special Note💌 We are unable to determine the extent of separation anxiety and potty training as she is still living in a center environment with group living. ❗Rescue Story❗ Yeoreum is one of the dogs that Adogs rescued from a dog meat farm. Even though she had the terrible memories of witnessing other dogs being killed one by one in a dog farm, she overcame it and is doing good at the Adogs Center.

Story
Meet Joe! Joe the big Gentle Giant was found in as a stray in Salmon Arm. Sadly, nobody came to pick him up from the shelter, and we have no past history on him. Joe was adopted and then returned a couple years later for pulling his senior pawrents too hard on-leash. Joey boy was recently transferred to the Sunshine Coast Branch, and is really enjoying these sunny, frosty days in the yard.Joe is a very large boy, weighing in at 57.8 kilos, and he is approximately 7 and a half years old. JoeJoe is now on a diet to hopefully shed a few pounds for hot dog summer.Joe loves showing you all his toys in the yard, and would like if you could throw them for him so he can chase them. He won't give them back to you though! Joe needs a person in his life who can help him continue his weight loss journey, and give him all the love and joy that he so deserves as an almost senior dog. We're still getting to know his mannerisms, but we've noticed he doesn't like bikes very much, and may have some leash reactivity. Joe would probably be best suited to live on a quiet acreage away from the hustle and bustle of city life. He is indifferent to dogs in the yard parallel to him, but we haven't yet done much dog testing with him.As we learn more about Joe, we will update his write-up.If you feel you could give Joe all he deserves and more, please apply online with the instructions below...Joe 549486Please follow these steps if interested in adoption!1. Appointments are preferred to adopt one of our animals. Please speak with shelter staff prior to visiting our branch. Primary Color: Tan Secondary Color: Black Weight: 58.1 Age: 7yrs 7mths 4wks
