✅️Currently fostered in South Korea✅️ Meet Yeoreum💕 (It means summer in Korean) * Toward People: Likes people, but lacks sufficient familiarity. Is not used to be petted, but she would open up to people if they pet her often and gently!🩷 * Toward Dogs: Has a good relationship with others! Gets along well with other dogs.🥰 * Separation Anxiety & Potty Training: Does outdoor potty at the Adogs center. 💌Special Note💌 We are unable to determine the extent of separation anxiety and potty training as she is still living in a center environment with group living. ❗Rescue Story❗ Yeoreum is one of the dogs that Adogs rescued from a dog meat farm. Even though she had the terrible memories of witnessing other dogs being killed one by one in a dog farm, she overcame it and is doing good at the Adogs Center.

Story
Oh my, my, my Delilah! This sensitive girl was found as a stray in Quesnel. After Bylaw was able to trap her and bring her into care, it was apparent she had lived a great deal of time outdoors. Delilah arrived covered in matts, and deeply embedded with burrs. She has been very calm accepting multiple baths and is looking (and feeling) much better. We suspect Delilah is a mix between working and herding breeds and is looking for a home with a secure yard. She has a history of escaping 6 foot fences, so a home with tall, secure fencing is necessary. She is very smart, and will need a lot to keep her busy! Urban life will not be suitable for her. She would love property to run, or a home with an active family who can keep her moving. Delilah is a sensitive and sweet soul who is slowly blossoming in shelter. She enjoys affection and loves to play inthe yard! She is loves to do zoomies and is SO excited when she sees other dogs she can barely contain herself. Play bows are her favorite and she so badly wants to be chased. She would do well in a home with another dog or meeting new friends at the park. She is booked for a spay and a dental in Surrey on March 13th, so we are seeking a foster-to-adopt who can get her to and from this appointment (BCSPCA will cover the medical care). If you would like to meet this special girl, stop by the West Vancouver BCSPCA between 12pm-3pm Tuesday to Sunday or send us an application today! Story
Hello everyone! My name is Brad, and here is some info about me:Breed: Anatolian Shepherd mixAge: 1 yearGender: maleWeight: 68 poundsHeight: tbdHighlights: playful, food motivated, dog interactive I was found in the Middle East by a very sweet lady and her Samoyed dog outside of a vet clinic. I was taped up in a box along with my sister. Thankfully, her dog was able to sniff us out and lead her to us. We were both crying, and were extremely scared. Clearly someone had separated us from our mom. The lady was thankfully able to take us back home and nurse us back to health. We were slowly introduced to solid food after a few weeks and we love it! Especially me! My sister is more of a lady. I honestly think deep down she loves the food as much as I do, but doesn’t like to show it.I am extremely playful and love playing with my ball. I sometimes like to play with my big brother (the Samoyed) but he’s usually not in the mood to play with me and like I said, my sister can be a little stuck up. Even so, it would be great if we were adopted together. Our fee would be reduced, if so.I am scared of busy streets and cars. Can't blame me there, the cars zipping around are dangerous. With time and training that should improve though. I do know how to use a pee pad and have had a teeny bit of work on leash. I'm quite young, so will need full training yet.I love other dogs as you can see, I've had a lot of practice with my sister. https://youtube.com/shorts/v9KNuegdA5w?si=ReUELjDitm2dbXLp Love to have an opportunity to come to Canada! If you adopt me, I promise to be the dreamy Brad Pitt in your life! Energy level: Moderate-highI get along with:Other dogs: yesCats: unknownKids: yes, await vids Prey drive: unknown/not observed. My adopter needs to be willing to train me should these behaviors arise.Fears: busy streets/cars. Please be patient assisting me in my transition. Training: very littleLeash training: a bit. Please be prepared to train me.House trained: partially, pee pad. Please help me learn where to go in my new home. Health notes:I am neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. My adoption fee is 800.00 CAD plus applicable taxes. While our rescuers always seek a flight without a charge, there is the possibility of a passenger fee, to a max of $300. Most passengers from the Middle East now require a fee to accompany a dog on a flight. Due to this, if a rescuer finds a flight with this requirement, we will contact you to see if you are willing to pay the passenger. You are under no obligation to do this. If not, another flight will need to be searched for, though there is no guarantee a free or lower cost one will be found. Though oft times a passenger is requesting higher amounts, the fee will not exceed $250. Our rescuers work extremely hard finding flights and spend tremendous amounts of money caring for and sending these dogs to safety. They simply haven't the extra money to cover this. Thank you for your understanding. Disclaimer: It is important for all applicants to visit our website, http://www.lovedatlastdogrescue.ca/adopting/ and read about Loved at Last Dog Rescue.Information included in the profile is provided to us from the international rescuer or local fosters. LALDR does not have access to overseas dogs and cannot always verify the accuracy of their descriptions. Every dog is an individual and can act differently in different situations based on the person adopting them and the environment in which they live. Please Note: LALDR highly encourages adopters to research some local dog trainers before their dog arrives. Although a 1-on-1 trainer is often not needed, it is good to have someone in mind in case any problematic behaviours arise. Most bad behaviours can be modified if caught early enough, so make sure to nip undesirable behaviours in the bud before they become serious problems.Basic training should be taken seriously, but should not begin until your dog is well settled in - at least a couple of weeks. After you feel your new dog is relaxed and comfortable in their new home, check out training courses in your local area. Even basic beginner courses like those taught at a local pet store can have a huge benefit in helping your dog learn to socialize and get used to being in public situations, all with the added benefit of strengthening their bond with you. While most dogs find escorting passengers flying directly to Vancouver, some will find flights through Toronto or  Montreal. In that case, additional fees will apply to fly your dog to Vancouver by cargo. Unaccompanied cargo costs within Canada range from $350 - $550 depending on the size of the dog. LALDR will be as transparent as possible with you regarding these costs. The age and breed of a dog is usually an educated guess, so we are not able to guarantee the accuracy of age or breed of our dogs. Normally, we will not approve adoptions to homes with children under 12 years of age. However if a dog has been determined to be good with children we will approve applicants with children 8 years or older. More information can be found on our website. [MID-EAST] *Vaccinations: Dogs from the Middle East are vaccinated for rabies, parvo, distemper, leptospirosis, adenovirus type 1 and para-influenza. Bordetella is not given, as that has not been a problem in the Middle East. [TURKEY] *Dogs receive 4D SNAP tests - which include: Heartworm, Ehrlichiosis, Leishmania and Anaplasmosis. ##1910650##

Story
Hello beautiful people! I am Athena, the goddess of wisdom. Here is some info you need to know about me. Breed: Anatolian Shepherd   Age: 3 yrs   Gender: femaleHeight: 60 cm Weight: 40 kgCountry of Origin: Middle EastHighlights: calm, mellow, friendly, food motivated, loyal I’m a three-year-old sweetie who has been living at this shelter since I was just a year old puppy. Yep, you read that right—I’ve been here 2/3 of my whole life, waiting for my forever home. I might be a bit on the chubby side (okay, maybe more than a bit!), but that just means there’s more of me to love!I’m the definition of mellow. I’m not extremely active—running around and chasing things isn’t really my style. I’d much rather find a cozy spot to nap or enjoy a nice snack.I love food—maybe a little too much—but who can blame me? Treats are the best!I’m super friendly and love people. I’ll happily hang out with you, whether you want to go for a leisurely walk or just relax together. And if you’re into cuddling, I’m your perfect match! I’ve got plenty of warmth and affection to share, and I’m always up for snuggling on the couch.I also get along really well with other dogs. I’m not the jealous type; I’m just happy to be part of the pack. So, if you’re looking for a laid-back, cuddle-loving companion who doesn’t need a lot of exercise, I’m your girl! I’ve been waiting patiently for someone to take me home—could it be you? Energy level: moderate to low I get along with:Dogs: yes  Cats: unknown  Kids: unknown Prey Drive: non-observed, however, my adopter needs to be willing to train me should these behaviors rise. Story
Hello there! My name is Harold (Aro), and here is a little info about me: Breed: Anatolian ShepherdAge: 3 years old Gender: MaleWeight: 20 kgHeight: 85 cm (ground to shoulder)Country of Origin: Middle EastHighlight(s): Majestic, fluffy, and soulful-eyed – a true protector with a soft heart! A little about me:Hello, my name is Aro! With my thick, golden-brown fur and deep, kind eyes, I am both a strong and loyal guardian and, at heart, a gentle soul who just wants love and companionship. Whether I'm playing in the sun, feeling a kind hand on my fur, or peacefully sitting by your side, I’ll always be there to bring warmth to your life, bringing unwavering devotion and the soft comfort of a true companion. A year ago, I was found in a small village where life was full of hardship. Some people didn’t understand me, and I was often mistreated, facing constant abuse and harsh conditions. But one day, an angel in the form of a kind-hearted woman saw my pain and gave me a second chance. She took me home, where I finally felt safe. After some time, I moved into a loving foster home, where I’ve been learning what it means to trust again. I have a small wound on my back—perhaps from a past scuffle—but the vet says it will heal just fine. My heart, though, is already healing, thanks to the kindness I’ve been shown. Now, I just need my forever family to complete my journey. I may be big, but I am as gentle as they come. I love to play and bring joy to everyone around me. I adore companionship and enjoy being part of the family, whether that means running around outside or just relaxing near my people. With my loyal nature, I will always be by your side, making sure you feel safe and loved. I would thrive in a home where I get to be part of daily life, whether that’s playing, going on adventures, or simply being near my humans. A family who understands my past and will continue to show me love, patience, and positive experiences would be perfect. Could you be my forever family? My fur may be thick and fluffy, but so is my love. If you’re looking for a sweet, loyal companion, I’d love to meet you! More About Me:Energy Level: Moderate I Get Along With: Dogs: Yes! I love doggy friends. Cats: Unknown – I haven’t met any yet. Kids: Unknown – I haven’t been around them, but with patience, I could learn! Fears: None observed, but please be patient as I adjust to my new home. Training: Leash skills: Some, But please continue to guide me in my new home.House trained: Some But please continue to guide me in my new home.
