Story
Meet Holly, a sweet 7-month-old Great Pyrenees with a calm and gentle demeanor. Holly is a great walker on a leash, loves spending time outdoors, and would thrive in a home with a yard where she can explore and relax. She adores other dogs and would benefit from having a confident canine friend to help her feel secure, as she can be a bit wary in new situations and around strangers. Given her breed, Holly can be protective over her space and family and does have stranger danger in certain environments. Her new family should be committed to continuing her socialization with positive reinforcement and slow introductions to new people to help her gain confidence and work through her fears. Luckily, she is very food motivated and yummy high-value treats like hot dogs and chicken are the way to her heart. Holly is already well on her way with basic training-she knows commands like sit, stay, come, and even "shake a paw"! She's also trained to ring a bell when she needs a bathroom break, making her a wonderfully intuitive and clever companion. Holly is not suitable for apartment living and her future home would have a fenced yard away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Holly would be a perfect fit for a patient, loving family who can provide her with structure, understanding, and plenty of outdoor time. If you're ready to help this gentle giant bloom, Holly is ready to meet you!Do you think you could be 'Holly's person? Here are some ways to find out:1.
