Story
Looking for a playful companion who adores being around people? Max is your guy! This lovable Great Pyrenees lab mix is bursting with energy and enthusiasm, ready to bring joy to your life. Max is a fetch enthusiast, always eager for a game of toss in the backyard or living room. His playful spirit is matched only by his sweet nature; he’s incredibly tuned in to his humans and loves to snuggle up on the couch after a fun-filled day. Whether it’s playing with his toys or curling up for a cozy nap, Max thrives on human companionship. He’s already mastered some basic commands like sit and shake, and he’s currently learning to walk nicely on a leash. With a little patience and guidance, he’ll be a pro in no time! Max is also great with other dogs, making him a perfect addition to a multi-pet household. Max prefers the comfort of indoor life, where he can be close to his favorite humans. He’s always ready for new adventures—whether it’s a run around the park or just lounging together at home. $150 adoption fee covers neuter, vaccines, parasite prevention and microchip. Story
We rescued Stanley from the local human society roughly 3.5 years ago. He is a Great Pyrenees and Black Labrador mix. He is house trained and knows basic commands. Most of the day, he stays indoors where he lays in his bed or sits and watches out the window. For an hour or so a day, he loves spending time outside and running around. We think he would love more time outside but because of our life style change, we cannot accomadate that, which is why we've made the tough decision to rehome Stanley. We have 2 kids under 2 and with the busy schedule we cannot provide Stanley the attention and stimulation that he deserves. Stanley has done well with our family, but he does not do well with other big dogs, which likely stems from abuse from the previous owner. The ideal family for Stanley would be one with either no kids or older kids, with a home where he had space to run and be outside. He enjoyed protecting our fence line from things he does not recognize, he could also do well as a far

Story
Hi! My name is Yuki. I am a Great Pyrenees with good manners!! I am looking for my forever home so here's a few things about me! I am good on a leash and love to receive love as well as give it. I'm a goofy boy that loves to play but also likes to get all the pets. I am great with dogs, kids and cats so I can be the perfect addition to your family! I absolutely ADORE getting a bath and blow out. Fun fact about me is that I also give hugs! I unfortunately suffer from having seizures but my medicine helps and it doesn't stop me from having fun!!! If you are interested in adopting Yuki please fill out an application on our website. He is being fostered in Huntsville, AL.

Story
If you are searching for a great family pet who has the most soulful brown eyes, look no further! This gentle sweet girl is the answer and her name is Glory. Glory adores and worships kids and wants nothing more than to be near them. Her best days are spent running along side them, sitting under their chair and laying next to them as they play. She is mellow, laid back and loves being at home with her people. Glory is potty trained, knows “sit, wait, potty and go in” (come inside or go into a room). Currently, she does not use a crate, but would  revert to it easily. She sleeps in a small room with a gate simply propped at the door. A harness is used when walking her and she needs to improve on not reacting to other dogs. Not one to play with toys much ( unless taunted by another dog to tug), she loves bones, treats and kongs. At times, Glory may try to leave the house without permission. Glory has lived in a house (and yard) with a variety of visiting dogs and a “ sister”. She has no experience with cats and the barking of small dogs makes her nervous. She should not be homed with small animals. If you are looking for your new best buddy, you have found her and she’s waiting to go home with you! Glory is up to date on vaccines, h2 negative and spayed. Apply at forrescue.net
