Story
George is an amazing dog! He has done doggie daycare and he’s amazing with other dogs! He’s also good with cats. George is the sweetest and most loving dog you’ll ever meet! He wants nothing more than to be next to you getting all of the affection he can get. He listens very well, can be a bit stubborn at times, and just an overall cuddly good boy! As much as it breaks my heart to rehome him, I believe he deserves someone more financially stable to provide him with what he needs to live out the remainder of his life

Story
Things we know I’m a sweet, social pup who is great with people and other dogs! I have a kind heart, loving personality, and will be a wonderful family pet. All I need to truly thrive is love, guidance and basic training. I passed multiple temperament tests to with people and dogs (including on-leash and off-leash playgroups) in order to come to Felines & Canines. I am AWESOME! Things we don’t know We don’t know about any animal’s housebreaking, as they are all in our shelter, not a home environment. However, all of our dogs go outside multiple times a day to go potty and go on walks. We can’t guarantee breeds or ages, but we do our best to put forth an educated guess! Next steps Our adoption fee for dogs over six months is $275, under six months is $350, which includes vaccinations, a microchip, deworming, spay/neuter surgery, anti-parasitic preventatives. If you’re interested in meeting/potentially adopting, please complete an adoption application by clicking on the link below. The application only needs to be completed one time, regardless of the number of animals you’re interested in meeting. Questions? Story
Lacy is an 8-month-old Lab / Great Pyrenees / Golden Retriever mix with the sweetest soul and so much love to give. At first glance, she may seem painfully shy — but give her a little patience and kindness, and you’ll watch her transform. Once Lacy feels safe, her outgoing and playful personality shines through. Her love for other dogs is stronger than her fear of new people, and she gains so much confidence from her furry friends. A home with another friendly, playful dog would truly help her continue to blossom. Lacy is full of youthful energy and absolutely loves to play — whether it’s backyard zoomies, wrestling with dog buddies, or exploring the world by your side. After she’s had her fun, she’s happy to relax and enjoy the comfort of home. She’s already a superstar when it comes to manners: Great with kids Wonderful with other animals Potty trained Crate trained Leash trained Lacy is looking for a patient, loving family who will give her the time she needs to build trust. In return, you’ll get a loyal, playful, and deeply devoted best friend who will bond with you in the most special way. If you’re ready to help Lacy spread her wings and become the confident girl she’s meant to be, she’s ready to meet you She is being fostered in Madison AL. Story
Yuki is a 3 year old 86 pound Great Pyrenees! He is being fostered in Huntsville,AL and is available for transport and the approved adopter will be responsible for the transport fee. Yuki was primarily raised as an indoor pup without other pup playmates, so exhibits some stress when alone. He has loved being at his foster’s with a big yard and other dogs to play with. He does well with dogs of all sizes and has quickly realized and become sensitive to the fact that he is too large for some of his 20 lb playmates, which is really good. He has become pretty gentle in his few weeks at his fosters, primarily because he gets a lot of outdoor play time. He does need a pup playmate close to his size that provides him a since of security. He has been diagnosed with a seizure issue and takes daily medication, levetirace, for it. His foster is still learning about him, but so far, he is just a great happy boy. If you are interested in adopting Yuki please fill out an application on our website forrescue.net. He is being fostered in Huntsville, AL.
