Welcome Reesaw to CCPAL Rescue. She is an 18-month-old Great Dane mix dog. She weighs in at 102 pounds. She is good with other dogs and came in with an older Great Dane named Planter. Reesaw does pull on leash but we will be working with that. She is moderately active and would be fine with a moderately active family. She is a good balance between active and couch potato. She is good with people and will bond deeply with her person. Great Danes are typically a little shy and they warm up and bond deeply to their family. She does fit this characteristic. She would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. Someone who has owned an XL dog or a Great Dane would be preferable. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 400 and transport is 180. Welcome Jinx to CCPAL Rescue. Jinx is a 2 year old Great Dan mix. He is tall and lanky like the great Dane and has the shy quality. He is a good weight and he is good with other dogs. He has lived with a large female and male in his home. He does know sit and is good on leash. We assume he is potty trained as he had an older man owner. His owner is in hospice care and is not doing well. A good Samaritan stepped up and helped them. She asked CCPAL to take them in and help them find a new forever home. He settles down nice and likes to lean in to his person. He would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. We would love someone familiar with the Dane personality or someone who has had a large breed dog before. He would be a great man dog. He takes direction well and bonds deeply very quickly. He naturally likes men as he lived his life with one. He would be content being the only dog or being with another dog. He is not the dominant one of the 3 pack. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. HISTORY: Meet Oreo! He is a sweet 3 year old brown brindle Mastiff / Great Dane / German Shepherd mix. He was an owner surrender when Red Waggin' pulled him from Stanislaus Shelter in Modesto, CA in early March 2023. He was fast tracked to euthanasia (less than 5 days) due in part, to shelter overcrowding. Since being rescued, he has become the most loving, sweet and goofy dog you ever want to meet. He enjoys going on walks and hanging out with his pack and foster family. He likes to go outside and play, but he also enjoys chilling out with a toy on his bed. He is a sweet and gorgeous love bug, who simply wants love back. In addition, he is house and leash trained. FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED: Give a warm welcome to Sienna! She is a 2-year-old, 84lb Great Dane/Shepherd mix who came to us from an overcrowded shelter in CA. Sienna is a super sweet dog that walks well on leash and has beautiful markings. She is calm, very smart, learns quickly, and has done well with other dogs. Sienna is still gaining a little bit of confidence but overall is down for any adventure. She loves to go on walks with her person and is very attentive to her handler. Sienna would love a home that takes her on daily walks and adventures. She would make a great additional dog in a home or she would be fine as an only dog with continued socialization. We don’t know what happened to her ear as half of one is missing and was that way when she came to us, but it adds that much more character to her! She is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed. Her adoption fee is $450.

Hi, I'm Pippa,I sure hope you are looking for a great young dog to make your home complete. If that is so, then stop looking, you found her. I am pretty shy when I first meet new people but all I need is a bit of attention to build my confidence and I will shine. I don't live with children but I have been around them and I know to just stay calm and relax. I like dogs in my pack and I will play but I would prefer to chill out and relax. I am what you might call laid-back!When my foster family takes me out for a walk I stick pretty close to them because there are a lot of street dogs and they scare me a bit. It is much better when I walk with my pack. I don't have many toys but give me a nice marrow bone and I will be busy all day! Cats are not my thing, unless they like to be chased then I am all in.Oh did I mention that I love to swim? It is the best thing when we go to the beach and I get to play in the water. I'm in heaven then. The car ride there makes me a bit nervous so I don't look out the window or anything. I just wait until we are at the beach then I am fine.I am pretty good with my basic commands like Sit, Come and of course, come eat! I know I still have lots to learn but I hope my new family will be ready to teach me how to be the best dog I can be.
