Story
Dearest Gentle Reader, Lady Hera has some most delightful news to share — she is ready to be adopted! This writer can attest that she is among the gentlest souls in all the land. If you seek a sweet companion who adores cuddles, toys, other dogs, and car rides, then look no further — Lady Hera is the one for you! She is about 3 years old, spayed, and quite lovely. Her many charms include excellent crate manners, a quiet nature (she’s not much of a barker), and the most heart-melting tail wags reserved only for those she holds in high esteem. Offer her a ball or a stick, and she’ll repay you with a display of her most splendid zoomies! Now, no lady is without her quirks. Hera is nearly perfect in her potty training (95%, by her foster’s count) and only occasionally has an accident. She doesn’t love being alone and would prefer a home with another dog for company, though it isn’t an absolute requirement. When left, she may feel anxious at first but settles nicely when resting in her crate. Strangers — particularly loud gentlemen — can make her nervous, but with a few moments of kindness, she shows her true affectionate nature. Her foster fondly describes her as the diamond of the season, and any suitor would be fortunate indeed to make her part of their family. Post Script: Lady Hera continues refining her table manners (gentle reminders not to beg are appreciated). She enjoys walks and will no doubt become a lovely leash-trained lady in no time. Her fondness for sticks occasionally extends to stick-shaped household items — but she is quick to stop when kindly corrected. So, dear reader, if you are ready to open your heart and home to this most enchanting of companions, Lady Hera awaits your call. Lady Hera needs a home within a few hours of the Seattle area. https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfL4VeONfx2FT4gA2AjLwpLtYplLM3Fufo_75AmQlbV_6MHtQ/viewform

Story
Location: Renton, WA DOB: 11/19/2023 (estimate) 🌌 Meet Neptune – not just the 8th planet from the sun, but a sweet, goofy, and energetic young Great Dane looking for his forever family! Neptune is affectionate, eager to please, and FULL of life. Did we mention energetic? This boy LOVES his zoomies – fast, furious, and always hilarious. He’s a toy enthusiast too (durable ones, please!) and his favorite game is tossing them in the air and catching them mid-flight. After playtime though, he’s the best chill companion, happy to sprawl out and relax by your side. 💡 Training update: Neptune came from a shelter with very little training, but wow has he blossomed! He now knows sit, stay, come, wait, drop, crate, and bed. He’s potty trained, crate trained, and working on his leash manners (especially greeting other dogs – he’s excitable, but doesn’t appreciate being challenged). He’s smart, responsive, and wants nothing more than to be the goodest boy. 🏡 His ideal home: -Would thrive as a solo dog or with a well-mannered pup friend -Loves kids, but does best with older ones (he thinks running = playtime!) -Best in a cat-free home -Needs room for big zoomies and play -Not suited for busy public events, but perfectly happy being your stay-at-home sidekick Neptune loves HARD. He’s a giant cuddlebug who will “request” hugs by gently pressing his big head into your lap, and he never says no to ear scritches or belly rubs. 💙 If you’re ready for an out-of-this-world best friend, and live in WA state, apply today to meet Neptune! 🚀 https://forms.gle/G2dJx2NV4JXZcZ9F6

Story
Welcome Reesaw to CCPAL Rescue. She is an 18-month-old Great Dane mix dog. She weighs in at 102 pounds. She is good with other dogs and came in with an older Great Dane named Planter. Reesaw does pull on leash but we will be working with that. She is moderately active and would be fine with a moderately active family. She is a good balance between active and couch potato. She is good with people and will bond deeply with her person. Great Danes are typically a little shy and they warm up and bond deeply to their family. She does fit this characteristic. She would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. Someone who has owned an XL dog or a Great Dane would be preferable. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 400 and transport is 180. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions.
