Story
Dakota was failed twice by families that were supposed to love her. She adores her people and loves to cuddle with them. She does great in a kennel and house trained. Does well with small submissive dogs. No large dogs. She’s an older girl so a quiet, calm household is a must. Light walks or backyard time will be enough for her. From foster: Cats are good no problem with them. Dogs not so much. Only older or super chill medium to small dogs. She goes out with baby z but honestly doesn't like him because he tries to jump in her face to play but she wont retaliate on him just snaps and turns the other way. Prefers to just be around people, no major walking but she does love to go on walks. And ABSOLUTELY LOVES HER BIG STUFFIES!! Bought her that big lamb from Sam's and she tries to take that thing everywhere. She pretty much free feeds we fill her bowl up all the way in the morning she eats as she wants. Her kennel is her safe place and loves soft stuff to lay on. And loves all the pets you will give her. She is fine outside of her kennel left unattended and doesn't chew on anything fine with people but if she is in her kennel she WILL BARK until she is acknowledged ABSOLUTELY DOSE NOT LIKE BEING IGNORED . Danes tend to talk back.

Story
Poor Daisy was dumped across the street from her foster moms’ house on Easter Sunday. They watched the car drive away with her chasing behind, but she gave up pretty quickly and started sniffing around to try to figure out where she was. Daisy’s panic was cut short when her foster moms scooped her up and took her to their home.  She was skin and bones, all ribs, hips, and vertebra plainly visible, with scabs and sores all over. She tested positive for heartworm and hookworm. Her foster moms are working closely with their vet to get her healthy for her forever home.  Daisy is a big girl - at 50 lbs emaciated, she’ll likely be 70-80 once she’s filled out. She is estimated to be 4-5 years old.  She quickly fell in love with her foster moms and wants to be as close to them as possible at all times. She’s working on the concept of “personal space” but hasn’t quite grasped it yet.  She gets along well with the resident cats but needs to be leashed around the outside animals (chickens, goats, horses, etc).  She can be dog reactive so needs a home without other dogs and to be walked in areas with low dog traffic.  Because she was starved, she does have some resource guarding issues with food and currently needs to be fed in a crate. She walks amazingly on a loose leash.  She house trained and is working on crate training.  She has not yet been tested with children but with proper introduction, her foster moms expect she would be fine, though she might knock them over trying to get pets. As underweight as she is, she’s still pretty strong!  Daisy loves tug of war and is learning about every other way she can have fun. We’ll continue to update her bio as we get to know her better.  October 14, 2024, 3:59 pm

Story
Meet Bulbasaur! This 140 pound gentle giant need a quiet forever home. This handsome gentleman was found roaming a hiking trail in Central Texas with his leash still attached to him. Since then he quickly learned the ways of a loved and spoiled boy and basic commends. He is house and kennel trained. Up to date with vaccinations as well as neutered and microchipped. This big boy needs a home with no small children and no other dogs. He’s a sensitive boy who will adapt quickly but doesn’t realize he is an actual giant. He loves to hike and go for jogs and needs to be exercised. Bulbasaur’s favorite words to hear are "Good Boy" as this boy aims to please.
