However, due to his size and energy, Astro requires a family or individual who can provide him with the time, space, and attention he needs. Unfortunately, due to life changes, I am no longer able to meet his needs. I'm also away for long hours at a temporary job, and with an elderly dog in the household, Astro's rough play has become too much for my senior companion, which worries me that he could unintentionally hurt the older dog. Astro is a loving and playful companion, but he does have some food aggression, so he would do best in a home where that can be managed with care. He deserves a home where he can be the active, happy dog he is without the stress of too much restriction. If you’re looking for a big, loving dog with a lot of heart, Astro might be the perfect fit.

Well, my foster mama has been working with me to put on some weight and says that I look amazing now! I am house/crate trained and get along with other medium and large dogs. I do not do well with small dogs or cats. I have been described as a Velcro Dane and a very sweet girl. I am fully vetted, vaccinated and microchipped, I am ready to go home with you! I get along with cats and dogs as long as everyone stays out of my face. Sometimes it takes me a second to realize someone else is right next to me. I would like a fabulous couch to hang out on and a consistent routine at home! You know how some folks are not good with change, well me too! I am learning to navigate the stairs with my wonderful foster mama and soaking up all the love and attention I can get! The folks here tell me I need to be in training within 30 days of my adoption. She is a sweet girl but she is extremely scared of people, being handled and has separation anxiety. We are working on her socialization and basic commands. She is in a wonderful foster home, getting along with other cats and dogs, living her best life! White Kisses GDR has a very small program for non adoptable Danes.
