Story
Hes really playful and he love to be nosy and he’s always with you 24/7, when he meets new people he just gets really excited and wants to like jump kinda giving like a hug but he’s not aggressive, he’s really protective of other dogs i have a little schnauzer and canelo loves him and protects him from anyone. Hes train to potty outside or he’ll let you know when he’s needs to go. We just started training him to sleep on his own bed he’s getting a little better but still needs training. He’s really smart and pays attention to everything even though he’s deaf. He can be around kids but he doesn’t understand yet that he’s big so he wants to jump but of excitement but he’s a loving dog. since i work im so busy im not able to take care of him, please help me find him nice home!

Story
Please contact JoEllen (sagdinfo@aol.com) for more information about this pet. Please apply online at http://texasgreatdane.org/adoption-application/       Apollo is an 18 month old goober Dane! This big guy (130#) is a big doofus who absolutely loves everything and everyone he meets.  He loves to play and can get a little rambunctious with smaller dogs and small children!   Apllo has to have another big dog Dane size to play with.  His last home did not have that and he became destructive.  He definitely needs some sort of release for all of his energy. Apollo is house broken, crate trained and a cuddle bug!  He has been neutered and gastropexied.  He is current on all vaccines and heartworm negative.   Apollo's adoption fee is $400.  We are currently taking applications on this gentle giant which you can find online at www.texasgreatdane.org.          - IMPORTANT INFORMATION -   SASPCA Homeward Bound Dog Rescue and San Antonio Great Dane Rescue are 501(c)(3) foster-based rescue groups based in San Antonio, Texas.    Our group focuses on assisting open admission shelters in South Texas where over 32,000 dogs and cats are euthanized each year.   Our puppies and dogs are completely vetted and live in foster homes. They are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and tested for heartworm disease. All adoptions include one month of flea and heartworm preventative and a leash and collar.   We also host additional adoption events throughout the year.  Please visit our Facebook pages for the most current event schedules.   https://m.facebook.com/HomewardBoundDogRescue/?tsid=0.11494693985281179&source=typeahead   https://m.facebook.com/profile.php?id=185497084826453&tsid=0.7626298417270982&source=typeahead     If your adoption application is approved and you are traveling from out-of-town, we hold your chosen pet for one hour past the event start time to allow for travel time.     We are an all-volunteer organization and do not currently have the resources to process out-of-state adoptions.     Our puppies, purebred dogs, and small breed dogs do get adopted quickly so we encourage interested parties to apply online.   Please apply here:   http://texasgreatdane.org/adoption-application/   November 6, 2024, 8:13 pm

Please contact JoEllen (sagdinfo@aol.com) for more information about this pet. Please apply online at http://texasgreatdane.org/adoption-application/       ** This dog is in a foster home in San Antonio, TX. Prospective adopters must be able to travel to San Antonio to complete the adoption process.  Please apply online at http://texasgreatdane.org/adoption-application/ ** Billie Holiday is a stunning 6-year-old Great Dane who weighs approximately 100 pounds. She has a sweet temperament and is active and playful. She will make a loyal companion. Billie Holiday has been diagnosed with heartworm infection.  Dogs acquire heartworm infections when they are bitten by a mosquito that was infected with heartworm larvae. Dogs with heartworm infection live happy, high-quality lives as long as they are given appropriate care. Heartworm infection is relatively common in the United States so we are in need of caring adopters like you that are willing to open their home to a dog with heartworm infection. We think that our heartworm dogs have just as much to offer their new adopters as any other dog and they deserve a chance at life. Adopters will receive all the necessary medications needed to complete the heartworm treatment protocol. Please understand you are committing to providing a good home for her entire life (up to 15+ years or more.) You must be committed to housebreaking, age-appropriate enrichment and exercise, leash training, grooming needs, and positive socialization. Her adoption fee is $300. This includes her spay surgery, rabies vaccination, Nobivac® Canine 1-DAPP vaccination, Nobivac® Intra-Trac 3 vaccination, Drontal® Plus, IDEXX SNAP® 4Dx Plus Test, 24PetWatch® microchip, and leash and collar. Please be aware that puppies and small breed dogs do get adopted quickly so interested parties are encouraged to apply online at www.saspca.org. Please ensure your application is complete before submitting. We do verify property ownership, landlord references, apartment/HOA restrictions, veterinary references.
