529 days without a forever home. 529 days ago Razoo came into the shelter as a stray and he’s been looking for his place in this world ever since. He survived the streets. He survived the euthanasia list. He survived heartworm treatment. He’s learned what it’s like to live inside a home and that there are good humans out there who won’t hurt him. Now he just needs HIS human to find him🖤. ————————————————————— Razoo is 3 years old, 80 pounds, neutered, fully-vaccinated, microchipped, house-trained, crate-trained, and been treated for heartworms. He has done well with the other dogs in his foster home and loves his person (he will show you how much he loves you by wrapping his long arms around your entire body). When he came into the shelter he was terrified of being leashed. His foster has been dedicated to his training and desensitizing him to collars, leashes, etc. He has made leaps and bounds in his progress and he happily wore a bow tie for his photo shoot and gladly accepted head scratches from the photographer. Although she`s intrigued by the resident cat and tries to playfully interact, the feline often scurries away, enticing Rexi to engage in a friendly chase. Rexi is an avid runner, enjoys going for walks, playing with her toys, and taking long naps nestled close to her loved ones. She has mastered a few basic commands like sit and lay down, and she`s fully potty trained. However, she can be a bit timid around new things, likely due to her youth and natural caution. This playful and goofy girl is going to make the perfect addition to a loving home.Her constant tail wags are just one thing that brings joy to her humans. She is also house trained and crate trained - and is friendly to anyone she meets. She’s been great with other dogs and kids; she just forgets how big she is sometimes and is a little clumsy.Her sweetness shines so bright though and she can’t wait to find her forever home and live a life full of love and adventure!Shyla was born December 2023 and is located in a Foster Home. Gremlin is being fostered in NC. Howdy, I'm Gremlin, a 6 month old Great Dane, but don't worry, you CAN get me wet and I won't turn into Spike! I actually LOVE playing in water. My foster Mommy says I am a gentle giant, but I am still a baby and very playful. I need to learn my commands by touch because I cannot see or hear. And, well, I can be a little slower and I need repetitiveness with my training so I can be a very good boy. My foster Mommy is working with me on my manners, but I can be a bit slow because I have a great nose for food wherever it is heehee. It takes me a little time to navigate a new area, but I will get it, just be patient with me. Right now, I have a Cane Corso foster sister to play with and I love playing tug and wrestle with her. I am already potty and crate trained! When I wake in the morning, I will bark to let you know I has to go outside to do my business. I also walk well on a leash. The bestest thing I really love is to have my ears rubbed and to cuddle with humans. I don't know why they feel squished, after all, I'm the same size as a chihuahua aren't I LOL I just want my very own family to love me and guide me along my journey in this life. And, of course, to cuddle with furever. BDRA has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.

Snickers is 5 yrs old Great DaNoodle (Great Dane Poodle). I acquired him from a breeder who also trained him. He is crate trained and potty trained. Snickers follows command, such as (stop, let's go, back up, give me your paw and give me kisses). I feel Snickers would be best with a work from home/couple/or anyone that have time to spend with him. He loves to be petted and will follow you wherever you go. He only barks if someone is at the door or if anyone comes inside the house, but he doesn't bite. He is an extremely smart. He is up to date on his shots and is heartworm negative. He also has heartworm preventive medicine that I give him monthly. It saddens me that I have to do this, however I am having to take in my granddaughter (2yrs old) and my work schedule has changed where I leave my home at 6:30 am and don't return until 6:30 pm. That's entirely to long for Snickers to be in his kennel.
