Story
Snickers is 5 yrs old Great DaNoodle (Great Dane Poodle). I acquired him from a breeder who also trained him. He is crate trained and potty trained. Snickers follows command, such as (stop, let's go, back up, give me your paw and give me kisses). I feel Snickers would be best with a work from home/couple/or anyone that have time to spend with him. He loves to be petted and will follow you wherever you go. He only barks if someone is at the door or if anyone comes inside the house, but he doesn't bite. He is an extremely smart. He is up to date on his shots and is heartworm negative. He also has heartworm preventive medicine that I give him monthly. It saddens me that I have to do this, however I am having to take in my granddaughter (2yrs old) and my work schedule has changed where I leave my home at 6:30 am and don't return until 6:30 pm. That's entirely to long for Snickers to be in his kennel.

Story
Meet Rexi! A 1 year old Great Dane bursting with energy and affection. This gentle giant loves nothing more than snuggling up for cuddles. Rexi happily spends her days alongside her foster siblings, two boxer mixes aged 3 and 8. Although she`s intrigued by the resident cat and tries to playfully interact, the feline often scurries away, enticing Rexi to engage in a friendly chase. Rexi is an avid runner, enjoys going for walks, playing with her toys, and taking long naps nestled close to her loved ones. She has mastered a few basic commands like sit and lay down, and she`s fully potty trained. However, she can be a bit timid around new things, likely due to her youth and natural caution. Rexi is an exceptional and affectionate dog, seeking an environment filled with love, space to roam, and clear guidance. To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt It doesn`t obligate you, but it is the first step. We don`t get to all of the inquiries but respond to all applications. Thank you for choosing to rescue!

Story
My name is Percy! I am a sweet young boy who is looking for my forever home! Could that be with you? My foster family has described me as a goofy teddy bear because I am always so happy, and like other puppies my age I love to play and run around! I am looking for an active family - I love to take a long walk in the morning as well as another walk in the afternoon or evening. I am an active boy and love to play and interact with my humans both inside and out in the yard. In fact, I would LOVE to have a yard! My foster family says I get great joy in running around and exploring the yard - its also so fun to run around out there when I get my zoomies. While I can entertain myself I would do best in a home with a similar aged playmate! I do well with other dogs (I get so excited when meeting them!), but I have not had any interactions with cats. I am a sweet natured boy and my foster family calls me their little shadow-I love to follow my foster family around and be with them! I give lots of love to my humans too. You will definitely get lots of licks from me! I love to play and chew my toys (tennis balls and squeaky toys are my favorites), and really love interactive play with my humans! If I sound like the right boy for you, please submit an application. I can't wait to meet you! Story
Scout IV is a very loving and affectionate 16 month old Pit Bull / Great Dane mix weighing in at 70 pounds and still growing. His shortened tail gives him a distinguished appearance. A 'happy tail' injury at 7 months old has healed wonderfully and hasn't slowed him down one bit! Scout was rescued with his litter as puppies. The last of his litter adopted, when we found him we were captivated by his expressive eyes and wide smile. He had surgery at 4 months old to tack his ears to prevent development of hematomas between the layers of his cartilage and skin if he has an ear infection (something pit bulls are known to develop when shaking their heads vigorously during infection). We helped Scout ensure early on that he would be more comfortable and stay healthier throughout his life in this regard. Scout continues to grow strong and will never know how big he is, as his favorite place to be is relaxed and lounging fully on one of his humans. He truly loves his people with all of himself and will be loyal and true to your family! He is good with other dogs and children and has loved ours (ages 5 and 7) well. His need for attention and affection would best be met by a family who can solely focus on him to begin with and then over time add other dogs as desired. His size and enjoyment of basking in the sunshine would be best suited in a home with a yard large enough for him to play. Scout loves to gather his human's belongings; sometimes to present back to them as a gift and sometimes to use as a comforting chew toy. He is still learning and will be eager to please his family. His Great Dane legs gave him access to countertops, but his counter-surfing habit has largely been broken. He is crate trained, housebroken, and enjoys walks with his humans. Leash training will need to be a continued effort, but he does not fight you. Scout truly enjoys every moment of time you give him and will flourish under your love, play, care and attention. As an example, even when it is time to go outside for his potty break, he MUST share a few moments of affection before he is willing to leave your presence. It is a unique and lovable quirk that shows Scout's deep devotion, love, and need for affection. We adore Scout. It is heartbreaking for our family to need to find a new home for him, but we believe that with our older dog (only by 12 months) who is decidedly the alpha, it is best for Scout. He is coming into his own and has discovered he wants to be the leader of the pack. We want what is best for Scout. We will miss his affection, his smile, his snuggles and his excited full body wiggles on a daily basis. We look forward to knowing he is with a family who will love him as much as we do. He is loving, active, playful, affectionate, and loyal!
