Story
We adopted a 9 month old Great Dane 6 weeks ago from a shelter (he had been owner surrendered due to owners losing house and moving). We had hoped he would be a bff for our English Mastiff but she is not a fan and we are now looking to find the perfect family for sweet Ivar. He is 100% Great Dane (no papers but did Embark DNA testing and he also came back with no tested genetic issues), he is piebald with I think they call it tan points, neutered, microchipped and has a wonderful, friendly personality. Listens really, really well, leash trained, crate trained, knows multiple commands. He loves going on walks, drives and pupcups are his favorite! He is great with children and dogs, N/A for cats. Definitely not taking him back to a shelter and don’t want to have him go into another home to be fostered and have to adjust multiple times. We just want to find the perfect family for this precious guy!

Story
DMX is a big, friendly Great Dane mix with a playful spirit and a heart full of love. He's cool around other dogs, but can be selective, He's not a fan of being alone though, showing his anxiety when left by himself, especially in a kennel. He's happiest with his humans nearby, whether he's lounging inside or adventuring in the yard. He does have some separation anxiety and prefer someone who works from home or is around the house a lot to be a loyal best friends to! He's respectful of personal space, not jumping on people, His curiosity gets the best of him outside, where he loves to sniff around every inch of the yard, but he’ll only truly enjoy it if you're out there too. DMX is all about routine, especially when it comes to mealtime—expect reminders at 6:30 on the dot, morning and evening. He thrives on attention and affection, eagerly soaking up every scratch and pet you offer. DMX’s ideal home would have a big, secure yard for his sniffing adventures and someone who understands his need for companionship and patience with his anxieties. A quiet, adult-only home would be perfect, where he can be the center of attention and not worry about competing for affection. If you're someone who loves the outdoors, enjoys being active, and is looking for a loyal, loving companion to share in your adventures (and your heart), DMX could be your perfect match. He promises lots of love, loyalty, and a few good stories to tell along the way.

Story
Benny is the goodest boy. We looked forward to having land for our dogs to run and play, but we have a nasty neighbor who has ruined it. Ben used to run over to her land often & would scare the game she was hunting. She complained, so we improved our fencing, and purchased a tracking collar. This worked well for the past yr, but last week, Ben went over for the 1st time in a yr and scared her sheep." She reported it to the sheriff, and says shell shoot Ben if he goes over there again. Since then, we have had to walk him on a leash, and he hates it. Yesterday while leash-walking Ben, he got into a fight with my mom's dog, who is his best friend. Theyve never fought before and I think him being on a leash is just making him feel insecure and scared. We love him so much, but it's not fair for us to keep him this way. Ben needs a home where he can run and play. Even a big backyard is better than his situation now. He is the sweetest. Embark DNA: 51% Great Dane, 49% Ger Shep.

Story
I got coco when she was 6 months old in 2019 from a breeder off Craigslist. She was the runt of the breed and full grown is about 65 lbs. I wanted the Great Danes known personality without the monster size. Coco has been an apartment dog for 5 years until I started nursing school then became an outside dog at my brothers house and she does well. He does not have a fence and lives in the country, and she stays home and does not run off and get hurt. Coco has a very loud, deep bark that made me feel safe living alone in my apartment. I love her, but I can not take care of her anymore. I have had help from family all these years with her, and it is time I try to find her a new loving owner.
