Story
So, you know how SLOW the glaciers move, right?? WELL, that is the not like me :) I am only 6 months old and a SUPER playful pup, so I am thinking that my rescuers named me because of my white coat and NOT because I am slow and lazy :) So, I am most definitely a Great Pyrenees and Lab Retriever mix. I have double dew claws and a nice LONG snout. I want nothing more than to have a family who will love me for my bipolar breed mix... I am the perfect mixture :D I will be a big boy, I have long legs and HUGE feet. I actually don't have the long thick hair of the pyr, that is kind of nice right?? However, labs shed too. You must love the white doggy glitter I will leave behind. ADOPT ME SOON!!! I am not getting any younger, or smaller! Local adoption fee is $250 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)

Story
Have you ever seen such a sweet, scruffy face?! Howie is absolutely adorable, and he`s the biggest 75 pound lap dog ever! Howie came to us because his family was moving and unable to take him along. They said that he was HOUSEBROKEN, crate trained, and accustomed to living mainly indoors. His family said that he likes going for rides in the car but can be a little bit nervous around new people, so a home with adults or older children only is recommended. Howie is currently being treated for heart worm disease, so he will need a nice calm environment where he can recover and settle in! Howie is a good boy but the shelter is very stressful for him, so we hope to see him find his perfect match with an experienced dog owner as soon as possible!! Please give him a chance.

Story
I am a beautiful Great Dane and Chocolate Lab mix. I appear black, but in the sun, you can see my chocolate coat. I just turned 4 and I weigh 110 lbs. I have been neutered and am up to date on my shots. I am full of love and joy and love to be around other pets. I am even gentle with cats. I don't do well with aggressive pets, because I won't defend myself. I am very smart and will smother you with love and want you to be my best friend. I prefer land to roam and would love a farm. I am am in door dog and will want to be with you. I was recently attacked by a bobcat and am still a little skiddish.

Story
We are so excited to be a part of changing the future for this handsome male Great Dane called Neville.  Recently we were asked to help this one year old fawn colored boy to find a home and to do all the vetting from the ground up. You see, Neville was orphaned at birth when his momma died and he was hand- raised and fed by a woman who dearly loved him and still does. Eventually, she realized she was overwhelmed due to his size and the future of caring for him (she was a senior lady)  and sadly she surrendered him to Critter Cavalry Rescue.   Soon our foster mom who has two Great Danes herself, quickly figured out that Neville had only been around his Great Dane dad and siblings all his life and it was a sight to behold when he met the variety of dogs at this new foster home.  Neville tucked his tail and ran with sheer fright! He has since embraced all the foster dogs, cats, horses, donkeys and pigs as his friends. This special boy doesn’t have a mean bone in his body. And if you know the Dane breed traits, he is all of those and more.  He loves to run and play with all his new dog friends and we think he believes he has died and gone to dog heaven with all these friends to play with. Eager to please, Neville is the happiest when he puts his huge head in your lap to absorb all the love from his foster mom.  He loves to be petted and told how good a boy he really is. He is still a wee bit timid of new things and he will seek out a kind human to lean on for reassurance that all is well.   He is not in the house 24/7, but close to being housebroken all the same.  He has been neutered and we talked his stomach for the prevention of stomach flipping later in life.  This common malady effects the large breed dogs in high numbers and the reality of it happening is huge.  It is costly and often how large dogs end up in the ER at the expense of well over $5000 with no guarantee that the emergency surgery will save the dog.   We try to give this all-important insurance by tacking the stomach to help prevent any future flipping of the stomach.  We know that Neville will be the love of some family’s life if he is chosen.  We will require a fenced yard and someone that does not leave him 8-9 hours daily for work.  Shorter work hours away are fine, but he will be lonely if left crated for 8-9 hours. If you are interested in this giant lovebug please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com   He is worth every penny donated to adopt him.  You will see that instantly. PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.November 15, 2024, 12:43 am

Story
Hartsville, TN - Maggie - Anatolian Shep. Female - She is 2-3 years old. WAS LEFT FOR DEAD UNDER THE OWNER PORCH WITH A BROKEN/INFECTED LEG!!! A concern person begged to take the dog and then rushed her to the vet hospital. Sadly, the leg was broken for way too long and infected so they had to amputate her leg...... HEARTBREAKING. She is free to a loving home the will respect and care for her. She is doing great on 3 legs and no longer in any pain. She is actually quite remarkable and feeling so much better. She is not good with cats, nor chickens. She is good with medium size and large dogs.
