Hi there! My name is Opal. Aren't I such a beautiful girl? Until being rescued by Beagle Freedom Project, I was living on the streets of LA as a stray. I tried my hardest to find scraps to eat and a safe place to sleep, but life was so hard all on my own... I spent months starving, suffering from a severe flea infestation, and sleeping on a pile of trash I collected. I wasn't sure if help would ever come for me, but as soon as BFP heard my story they sprang into action! Despite everything that I've been through, I am such a sweetheart. I am gentle, trusting, and so unbelievably loving. I'm working on building my confidence, but it's already clear that I'm going to be the best companion in the world for my adopter. I'm also great with other dogs! Won't you consider giving me the loving home I've always dreamed of? I would prefer a home that has: another dog to play with, a fenced yard, lots of love! Lucy is a very loving dog. She was born in April of 23’. I adopted her when she was about 9 months old. I have worked with her and trained with her more than what she had prior to coming with me. She’s very curious with cats. She is very shy dog at first but opens up rather fast. She still acts like a puppy she tends to tear items up even on the counter but I’m thinking this is more of an attention seeking matter. She needs kids to play with and possibly other dogs to help get her energy level down. She’s not a jumper won’t even jump on the bed without help I just have to much busy of a schedule for what she needs with her energy.

Do you like to live DANEgerously? Then Mercedes is the perfect girl for you! This beautiful Great Dane pup is about 7 months old and 53 pounds. We can probably expect her to grow to about 100 to 120+ when fully grown. Mercedes is the most snuggly gal she could be, and loves nothing more than to be next to you or steal your side of the bed. Mercedes does good in a crate and is doing really well with leash training but will need to continue working on that a little. Mercedes is good with other dogs and children but still has some puppy energy so probably best with older children. Interested in becoming a forever home for Mercedes? This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, and flea and tick prevention. All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed. Just gaze into these gorgeous eyes and try not to fall in LOVE! I Stella-long-legs dare you! Meet Stella, the most beautiful, amazing and absolutely smartest mixed breed sweetheart! Without any scientific evidence, we think that she is part Great Dane and part Greyhound or maybe Afghan Hound. She is definitely a sight hound and she’s got the eyes and legs to prove it! She has been indoors for just over a month and has learned manners galore. She knows how to Sit, Lay Down, Sleep in her own bed at the foot of yours, walk on a leash with a corrective collar and excellent reinforcement, (she is very good at it), her recall is excellent in such a short time, she is working on Drop IT, Leave It, and Spin. She is great at hugging and snuggling and will kennel on command for as long as you desire. Stella will fit nicely into a home with room to run, a tall fence, an active family who understands the need for consistency in training. She is a bit clumsy and will probably grow in gracefulness as she ages. She needs to be challenged in mind and body on a consistent basis and requires a family who can give her that. She is mostly housetrained. She is not socialized to other animals. She loves her toys, playing catch and learning new things. She will do well in a class or school where she can learn sports like perhaps scent work, rally, obedience, agility or barn hunt or something fun to keep her occupied.
