WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Apollo - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! Hello all you fantastic people out there, let me introduce myself. My name is Apollo and I'm here hoping to adopt me a family...one that I can say will be all mine! I am about 2 years old and come in at around 130lbs. Yes, that's a big fella but I'm sweet, loving and well...that's just a little bit more of me to love you!! I am an extremely very sweet and affectionate boy that does great with people but I'm kinda like a bull in a china shop so it would be best if I had a home with older kids. I do great with the other pups here but again sometimes I just don't realize my size and would do best with bigger pups. I would hate to accidently hurt them!! I am house and crate trained making it easy for us to get right to the fun stuff...right away. I'd love to share all your adventures from the mundane daily to the weekend exciting. I love getting pets, going for strolls, hiking nature trails, and my nice big soft squishy bed!! If you're ready for lots of love and affection, I is that big boy for you! All you need to do is fill out my adoption application and I will do the rest!! You can find it at haydudeequine.org

I am about 2 years old and come in at around 120lbs. Yes, that's a big gal but I'm sweet, mellow, loving and well...that's just a little bit more of me to love you!! I am a tad bit shy at first meet that just needs a NY minute to start feeling comfortable. I have a very sweet loving temperament that does well with people both tall and small and other calm mellow pups. I'm not a big fan of when they jump at me getting into my personal space. I am house and crate trained making it easy for us to get right to the fun stuff...right away. I'd love to share all your adventures from the mundane daily to the weekend exciting. Meet Cody! This big boy is a Great Dane mix at a little over a year old. He is very sweet and has a lot of energy, and would be great for an active family. We are not sure at this time how he is with kids or other dogs, so we ask that you bring in your children and current dogs when meeting with Cody. We are also unsure at this time what kind of training he has had, so expect some training needed. If you are interested in Cody come to the SPCA today!

Name:  Lucy Age: 2 years Weight: 95 lbs Adoption Fee: $350.00 Good with Dogs?  Yes, but she can be a little pushy so a mellow dog would be okay   Good with cats?  Yes   Good with kids?  Yes, but due to her size she needs a home with kids who are at least 5 years old and used to being around dogs    Lucy was surrendered to a shelter when her owners were no longer able to care for her   She was very thin and had a serious case of happy tail (tail damaged from hitting it on things and it wouldn’t heal).   She is now a healthy weight, has a nub tail and we did a Gastropexy (stomach tacking) when she was spayed).  We were told she has a chicken allergy so she’s been eating lamb and rice food, with no issues.     She has no idea how big she so her goal in life is to be a lap dog.   Lucy is sweet and loves being the center of attention.     Don’t wait!  Get your application in now for this amazing dog.  Lucy is spayed, vaccinated, heartworm tested, micro chipped and had gastropexy surgery.   Her adoption fee is $350.00.     Adoption Process: Step 1:     Complete a "no obligation" application located on our website at pawprintsnky.com under the applications tab. Step 2:     PawPrints will review the application, verifying Vet and personal references as well as landlord requirements/restrictions (if applicable) Step 3:     IF your application is approved, we will call you to schedule a meet and greet for you to meet the pet. &#226&#128&#139Step 4:    If the meet and greet goes well, we will schedule the home visit.          October 12, 2024, 12:11 pm

Story
When my owners no longer wanted me they took me, to SPCA Cincinnati and tied me to their gate and left me! The next morning when the shelter workers showed up, they contacted Cincinnati Animal Care so I could serve my stray time. When my stray time was up the shelter contacted Harlequin Haven Great Dane Rescue to come for me. Within hours I was here at the rescue. Update 10/24: Well I got neutered today and NOW Grandma says I need to work on my manners before I can find my forever home. Hummmm I guess that means I need to be better with everyone not just her. Update 11/02: I am NOW ready for adoption!! I am still working on my manners, but I am getting better every day. Update 5/4/24: Well as you know I was adopted out in September 2023 and unfortunately it did not work out. I was so excited to have a family of my very own I went into protective mode and that made my adopters nervous. We tried to make it work but we decided they were not the right family for me. Update 6/11/24: I am now ready to try being adopted again. Grandma and I have taken lots of trips to the Vets office, feed stores etc. and I am no longer getting overly excited when I see strangers. Although I still do LOVE to meet people now I have learned I must have manners if I want them to pay attention to me. __________________________ If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, you will need to follow the adoption procedures on our website. Shortly after my dad brought me home to surprise my mom, dad decided he was moving on with his life, leaving mom with me and the 2-legged kids. Story
Violet is a 2-3 year old, beautiful Anatolian Shepard. She weighs approximately 42 pounds. She is momma to the flower pups that are also up for adoption. Now that she’s done being momma, she’s ready to find a home where she can be a dog. She is extremely shy! She doesn’t like loud noises so a home with no young kids would be best. She will do best in a home that’s relatively quiet. She’s been through a lot in her young age and is scared of her own shadow right now, but we know with time, she will warm up and be the best girl! She is housetrained, crate trained and walks well on leash. She does have a preference to women and is dog shy (not cat tested). If you’re ready to give this sweet girl a spot in your home, please apply at pawsomeanimalwelfare.com Adoption fee includes all up-to-date vaccines, spay and microchip.
We'll also keep you updated on Freya's adoption status with email updates.

Story
Meet Freya! This sweet girl is a 4yr old Anatolian Shepherd mix and is looking for a home for the holidays. She is a big, strong and energetic girl who would do well with an actice family. She would do best in a home as the only dog. We are not sure at this time how she does with children, but due to her size she might knock over the littles, so just be cautious with her around the little ones. We also recommend that you bring your kids with you when meeting with Freya. If you are interested in her come to the SPCA at 11900 Conrey Rd or call 513-541-6100.
