Story
We are rehoming our 4 year old female Great Dane. She is a super sweet girl but since we have brought our baby home she has become very jealous, lost weight and isnt coping well with the change. We want her to find a home that she is happy and can thrive in. She does well with other male dogs and older children. She is a couch potato and cuddle bug. She is not spayed but has never been bred. She is tall and lean. She is not papered. We just want her to find the best home possible. She eats Victor Dog Food and we will be sending a gallon size bag with her to her new home. We will also be sending her favorite blanket and toys with her. Feel free to reach out with any questions

Story
Ruby is a big baby. She loves to be loved, and seems to think she’s just a lap dog. She was my dad’s dog and he can’t take care of her anymore. I tried to bring her to my house but we have 2 Yorkies and a cat, and they are terrified of her. My dad had other larger dogs and they played rough a lot so she can be around other dogs. Just not small breeds. I would love to find her a good home where she can spend her last few years being loved.

Story
Raven is roughly 4 1/2 years old. She is awesome she gets along great w other dogs. Shes a little skiddish meeting new people ( typical Dane)but warms up quickly. She is super affectionate and will go on walks happily or lounge at home. She will do great with any size yard. She is fixed. She is perfect on walks. She does have an ear infection which is maintained on an allergy pill that she takes easily. My son came home from the service with his entire family and our circumstances have changed and can not keep her any longer. The black Dane(Finn) is also available. He is 3 1/2 not neutered upto date w shots and also great w everyone and animals just need introduction because of his size. Please be kind as this is not easy for us and just want to find them a great home.

Story
Claudia is a four-year-old, 92lb Great Dane who has endured a heartbreaking past but is now on the road to recovery. Taken from neglectful owners who bred her relentlessly and left her chained outside, she arrived underweight and scarred from the chain in her neck area. Despite it all, Claudia has remained incredibly sweet and gentle. Since arriving in her foster home, Claudia has been gaining weight and is well on her way to reaching a healthy size. She does wonderfully with dogs of all sizes and enjoys their company. Her favorite pastime? Lounging on the couch, stretching out in all sorts of funny positions. Claudia does well in her crate when her foster mom is at work and is making great progress with potty training. While she hasn’t had accidents in the house, she sometimes forgets to go outside when it’s cold, leading to occasional mishaps in her crate. This beautiful girl adores pets and head scratches and is ready for a loving home where she can continue her journey to happiness. Could Claudia be the gentle giant your home has been missing? Claudia is fostered in the Cincinnati, Ohio area. Her adoption fee is $275.00. To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals. For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible. We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.

WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Apollo - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! Hello all you fantastic people out there, let me introduce myself. My name is Apollo and I'm here hoping to adopt me a family...one that I can say will be all mine! I am about 2 years old and come in at around 130lbs. Yes, that's a big fella but I'm sweet, loving and well...that's just a little bit more of me to love you!! I am an extremely very sweet and affectionate boy that does great with people but I'm kinda like a bull in a china shop so it would be best if I had a home with older kids. I do great with the other pups here but again sometimes I just don't realize my size and would do best with bigger pups. I would hate to accidently hurt them!! I am house and crate trained making it easy for us to get right to the fun stuff...right away. I'd love to share all your adventures from the mundane daily to the weekend exciting. I love getting pets, going for strolls, hiking nature trails, and my nice big soft squishy bed!! If you're ready for lots of love and affection, I is that big boy for you! All you need to do is fill out my adoption application and I will do the rest!! You can find it at haydudeequine.org
