I hope you have room in your heart (and on your couch) for this handsome Great Dane, Hank. Hank is a senior but still has some energetic bursts from time to time. He loves his treat toy, his duck, and chicken jerky. He is very affectionate and loving, always wants to be with you and get pets. He loves to lean against you and get attention in any form you're willing to give it. Hank is a foster and came with some bad habits that we are working on. He is reactive and has been doing well with his training. He has been working on sit, come, leave it, no bark, and more. Hank takes some time to adjust and earn his trust but once you do he is protective and will be your best buddy. He is capable of great love and affection once he trusts you and would make an excellent companion. We recommend someone who has experience with training a dog so that he can continue to grow and develop. We also recommend someone who is prepared for a big boy like Hank. Introducing Nadia, a 2-year-old Shepherd mix located in Saint Pauls, NC, looking for her forever home! This friendly female weighs 45 pounds and has a high energy level, making her a perfect match for an active family. Nadia is very social and gets along well with other dogs. She was pulled from a shelter almost a month ago and has been under the care of a loving foster family. Nadia has an eye injury that requires continuous care, but she is otherwise healthy, spayed, and up-to-date on vaccinations and heartworm prevention. Nadia enjoys playing with toys, especially kongs and rawhide toys. She is fed a diet of Diamond Naturals chicken and rice, 1.5 cups in the morning and 1 cup at night. Nadia is house and crate trained, walks well on a leash, and knows basic commands like leave it, sit, and stay. This sweet girl is good with people of all ages and genders, as well as with other dogs. She is protective of her family but is still very loving. Nadia sleeps in her crate at night and is left alone for 2-3 hours a day. She rides well in a vehicle and has no behavior issues.
