Story
Meet Sky, who comes to us from a local shelter. She was owner surrendered to the shelter with her brother, Tiny (already adopted), because he said he could no longer take care of them. She and Tiny both lived their life in a 48" crate. Sky is a 3-year-old, 101 lb., Great Dane. She is housebroken, crate trained, and good with other dogs and cats, but due to being starved she does show food aggression with other dogs and would either need to be taught not to resource guard or be adopted to a family as an only dog. She is up to date on her vaccines and is spayed. Sky is very smart, sweet and affectionate, loves to nuzzle right into you, is great on a leash and in the car, and is very gentle and quiet. She is currently living in boarding and is also in need of a foster home. If you are interested in meeting Sky, please reach out to us for an adoption or foster application.

Story
Quick Facts: Estimated Birthday: 1/24/2023 Breed: Great Dane Mix Size: roughly 105 pounds House Trained: Yes -========================== Looking for a giant love bug to join your family? Athena Darla plays hard but cuddles harder. Athena came to the rescue after an amazing bystander overheard her owners planning to dump her at a dog park! This hero bystander jumped in and contacted us about taking in the dog. She’s an almost 2 yr old Great Dane. She must have slow introductions and doesn’t like overly excited dogs. Her foster says on some occasions she can be possessive, but loves to cuddle and play with her foster sibling. Athena is patient with the smallest dog in the house. She LOVES to be brushed and would sell her soul for butt scratches. Her perfect family would have a 6ft fence due to her size and love of running. She’s leash trained but hates getting her leash put on and will hide in her crate to avoid it. She’s not a fan of going in the car and leaving the house, but walks fine once you get her out the door. Athena is house and crate trained. She loves you once she gets to know you. While Athena loves attention, she doesn’t like when people approach quickly and would do best in a home with no kids or cats. Athena Darla does best crated while unattended for her safety. She can be a bit nosey and gets into things. She will need a heavy-duty crate in her forever home. Before emailing- please read: - Yes, this dog is available for adoption - The adoption fee for Athena Darla is $465 - Apply at c2cnd.org - The adoption fee covers their age appropriate shots, microchip, deworming, spay/neuter, and any other medical expenses while in our care. - Local adopters only. Copy and paste to view YouTube video: https://youtube.com/shorts/FChjQYI0kgo?si=57Cdji0Y7D1DVbsZ Lucy is a Great Dane/ Labrador retriever mix.  Her vet estimated year of birth is 2014, and she weighs about 85 pounds. She's low key and relaxed.  She walks beautifully on leash.  She really just wants a low key home where she can be loved and love in return.  She would love to take leisurely walks with you and sit at your feet with her head in your lap and watch TV together. Lucy has severe separation anxiety and really need a home where her owners are there most of the time or can take her wherever they go.  If you are a retired couple and would like a wonderful companion who will love you outrageously, Lucy is your girl.  ~~ Adoption donation $150 . All vetting is up to date. Microchipped and spayed. Also on flea/tick and heartworm preventative.
