Story
Meet Misty! She's a smart lady who is smart as a whip! She's crate trained, mastered many commands (sit, down, off, mat, enough, go to your room, here, all done- more than most kids :). She loves to run, play fetch and be wherever you are! She's a year and a half old, and was lucky enough to have professional training donated to help her find her forever home. Whoever adopts her will receive at least one free hand off session from her trainer to help her transition go perfectly! Her ideal family would be somewhat active (she needs to run around a yard at least a few times per day). She gets along well with other dogs, but calmer dogs are best. Misty loves to play, but she can get very excited if the other dog is too energetic! She would do well with older children. Younger children and cats would require a lot of supervision. Her trainer thinks she would be a great agility dog, but she is smart enough to do anything you want to train her to do! She will require some active parenting to teach her the rules of your house, because she is so smart, she may try to make her own activities if nothing fun is provided! She's potty trained now (we had some overnight accidents until she started going in her crate at night). She's a great dog with a good head on her shoulders, and she wants to know if you are the one for her! $200 In State Adoption Fee (in Texas) $400 Out of State Fee (includes Transportation to your area) $50 Temporary fuel surcharge.

If interested in meeting this puppy an application is required. https://www.cognitoforms.com/New2UCRU/CRUApp to fill out applications. Inquires sent to crurescue@gmail.com They are run separate from New2U and require separate location. Harlow is the sweetest gentle giant you could meet. She is a Harlequin, Great Dane, who is five months old and will be an extra large breed when grown. Harlow is completely blind, but is still able to use her other senses to navigate her world. She will need another friendly, large breed dog to show her the ropes. She will also require a fenced in yard as she needs to learn her space. Harlow would do best in a home that has a predictable schedule and layout so that she can learn her space. Harlow is working on potty training and his crate trained through the night. She does well with cats, dogs and children, but due to her large size would do better with children who are over 10. Story
Hades is a loving and sweet, however, slightly anxious 2-year-old Great Dane. He came to us 1 1/2years ago by way of a private owner where we also got our other Great Dane. He gets along well with both cats and dogs. We found that the rambunctious nature of small children is too much for his anxiety. He never bit but has lunged and nipped at both small children and strangers. He has never had any formal training, as have none of our other dogs. This has only been a problem with Hades. He does not respond very well to leashes but he does know basic commands ie sit, stay. He is crate trained.Since he does not get along with the small children in our home, we have to have him crated unless his mistress Amanda is home. She is the one he responds to the best in the house and is his main caretaker. Hades has all his shots up to date and he is neutered. He gets bathed and groomed regularly. He has a lot of energy and would do well with adults and hopefully a fenced in yard.

Story
Do you like your dogs extra large… who also think they’re tiny lap dogs? Then Sky might be exactly what you’re looking for.Sky is a 4½-year-old, 110-pound purebred Great Dane with a big presence and an even bigger personality. Once she gets to know you, she’s affectionate, sweet, and happiest when she’s close to her people—ideally convinced she fits comfortably wherever you’re sitting. She’s lived in a home before with other dogs, children, and even cats, and she does best with thoughtful introductions and a meet and greet to make sure everyone’s a good match. Sky is continuing to work on her leash skills and benefits from clear guidance and consistency, especially given her size.If you’re familiar with giant breeds—or ready to learn—and want a loyal companion who brings both elegance and goofiness to the table, Sky could be your girl.If you are interested, please give us a call at 716-731-4368, extension 0.

Story
Buddy is 4 years old, we just had a newborn and he needs too much attention and energy for us to be able to take care of properly anymore. He is a gentle giant and loves the outdoors. Ideally he would go to someone who enjoys being outside often and has enough space for a dog his size.
