She’s a big, beautiful and GROWING gal! She is working on housebreaking and crate training in her foster home and will need an adopter who is patient, consistent and willing to continue to work on these things. Regan’s ideal home is one without small children and preferably has another young and playful dog(s). Large breed experience encouraged! Gremlin is being fostered in NC. Howdy, I'm Gremlin, a 6 month old Great Dane, but don't worry, you CAN get me wet and I won't turn into Spike! I actually LOVE playing in water. My foster Mommy says I am a gentle giant, but I am still a baby and very playful. I need to learn my commands by touch because I cannot see or hear. And, well, I can be a little slower and I need repetitiveness with my training so I can be a very good boy. My foster Mommy is working with me on my manners, but I can be a bit slow because I have a great nose for food wherever it is heehee. It takes me a little time to navigate a new area, but I will get it, just be patient with me. Right now, I have a Cane Corso foster sister to play with and I love playing tug and wrestle with her. I am already potty and crate trained! When I wake in the morning, I will bark to let you know I has to go outside to do my business. I also walk well on a leash. The bestest thing I really love is to have my ears rubbed and to cuddle with humans. I don't know why they feel squished, after all, I'm the same size as a chihuahua aren't I LOL I just want my very own family to love me and guide me along my journey in this life. And, of course, to cuddle with furever. BDRA has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.

Scratch is a 1 year old neutered male great dane/terrier mix who weighs 85 lbs. Scratch is looking for a new home after his person was no longer able to keep him due to landlord issues. This guy has been nothing but sweet, but is clearly confused about why he isn’t in his home anymore. He will need a family willing to help boost his confidence as he wasn’t socialized much in his previous home. He seems to do well with other dogs and previously lived with a small dog without issue. Scratch has SO much potential and has learned so much already! He loves to be with his people and playing with toys. Fetch is his favorite game! He’s done well on walks and hasn’t been reactive to those he crosses paths with. He is shy with new people at first, but warms up when he’s given a chance to feel safe. Scratch loves bananas and cheese, but hates peanut butter. While he loves to play in true puppy fashion, he’s also an expert snuggler. Scratch has always known love from his family and cannot wait to land in another home full of kindness and people who love him. Bruce rides nicely in the car with your typical Dane personality. He walks overall well on a leash. Story

Cleo is a 1+ year old Dane mix and up to date on her shots. She has had little exposure to kids but in those experiences shes been very sweet and gentle. She is super friendly with people but still jumps and does not know how big she really is. She has gotten along with the few dogs she has been around but probably would do best with bigger dogs. As for cats, she is a typical dog who loves chasing them around! She is crate trained and somewhat house broken (still has few accidents) and would do best having access to a yard. Shes used to going on walks and still needs some guidance when it comes to pulling. Shes super sweet and knows when you need a hug. She loves fruits and veggies, squeaky toys, and cuddles.
