You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Mocha is a cute pup who is with our partner rescue in NC. This partner is a small shelter and these pups are all at risk of euthanasia for space in the coming weeks. It is URGENT that we help them avoid euthanasia by taking some dogs into Wag On Inn Rescue. Mocha can come to NJ if we find a foster or adopter. We offer a foster-to-adopt trial for approved adopters. Mocha is described as a very friendly girl! She adores people, loves attention and even "talks" to you. She does well meeting other dogs and has learned to walk on a leash nicely. Mocha will be fixed, microchipped and up to date on rabies, DHPP and Bordetella vaccines. She tested negative for heartworm. Her adoption fee is $550.   How to Adopt Me! If you are interested in learning more about me, and possibly making me part of your family, please go to  wagoninn.rescuegroups.org . Story
Meet Titan! He is a 12 month old great mix who was adopted from us when he was three month old and was returned to us last month due to his size. He is a little smaller then a full size Great Dane, but he is a mix. He is super playful and is leash trained, house trained and has some basic training skill. He is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines and is dewormed. He has been tossed around and is hoping to find a home and stay forever! He is so very sweet and loves to give kisses! He hopes you apply!

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Online Adoption Application This beautiful girl is about 2.5 years old.  She is a little timid but also very loving.  She seems great with other dogs, gentle with people, about 125 lbs.  She was rescued from the shelter and given up because she could no longer be cared for. She is already spayed and we are working on getting her cherry eyes repaired.  She likes outside and loves just laying in a grass or on a comfy dog bed.  She seems to bond to people quickly. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 2, 2024, 6:07 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Fill out an Adoption Application **Courtesy post located in Bel Air, MD** AleXander the Great is a wonderful boy in search of a family to call his own... a family that can show him time, love, and the attention he deserves.   HISTORY: Xander, to no fault of his own, has had to jump around a bit due to his family's financial difficulties.  When times were good he lived with his human mom, two other great danes and a chocolate lab with plenty of room to run around.  His best friend was his 7-year-old human brother.  He also spent some time with a Rover Pet-Sitter but ultimately funds ran out and is currently living in the basement of the home where he isn’t allowed upstairs. He does have the run of the yard where he does his zoomies though.                                  PERSONALITY: Xander is extremely lovable and gentle even if he forgets his size sometimes. He rarely barks except when frightened or when people/dogs pass by when he’s in the yard. Xander is smart but lacks some discipline. He needs training to be a good walker. He pulls at first but quickly settles down. Will try to dart after rabbits and squirrels. Knows to sit for food and gives his paw. Not good at coming when called except in a confined area, like our yard. He is good with children and most people. Doesn’t trust men in hats or beards. Developed a tendency to growl at strange dogs after returning from the Rover Pet Sitting. Xander has a good-natured personality and loves being cuddled, and hugged and returns the same. He has a stubborn streak when he needs to be locked in and will occasionally try to run if he isn’t tempted with a treat.  FAVORITE ACTIVITIES: WALKING and exploring. Car rides. When going for a ride he will be the first one in the vehicle. He is very good in a car. Coordination isn’t his thing and he’s no retriever. He does like to play catch me if you can with a ball, toy, or stick. Snuggling and just chilling with people. His most UN-favorite thing is being alone. He whines and whimpers. Not excessively. Again – rarely barks.  MEDICAL ISSUES: None. He was neutered a month ago and has healed well. He is up to date on all his shots and was tested for heartworm when he was neutered which was negative. All medical records will be provided. WHAT WOULD BE THE BEST KIND OF HOME: A home that can provide him with the attention he deserves. He craves affection and returns the same. He needs to be walked and have room to move around. Ideally, he needs to be included and surrounded by family members. I believe he would do well sharing his home with another dog or possibly cat and children.   Application Fees, Adoption Donations and Rescue Policy: Please know that 100% of our fees and donations pay for the costs of rescuing dogs. These include but are not limited to pull fees from shelters, veterinary examinations, vaccinations, medications and care, microchips, neuter/spay surgeries, heartworm treatments, behavior evaluations, and foster care, as needed. Important notes before applying. Adopters must have their primary residence in one of the following states: Pennsylvania, Ohio, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, West Virginia, Virginia, and parts of North Carolina. We will not adopt giant breed dogs to renters. Homes with children under 6 years of age will not be approved for adoption. Homes with children should have a fenced yard. Pets currently in the applicant's home must have a history of appropriate veterinary care. Homes with intact dogs will not be approved for adoption.  Proof of any of the following exceptions is required: The intact dog is a working member of a law enforcement, or search and rescue/recovery team. The intact dog is registered under the auspices of the American Kennel Club and is actively being shown. A veterinarian has determined the sterilization procedure would harm the intact dog.  We believe in Force Free Training Methods and do not approve of methods or devices using pain or force to control the dog, or to deter undesirable behavior.  Homes with highly varnished steps must have carpeting, securely fixed stair treads, or a non-skid surface. **We encourage you to remediate potential safety issues while your application is under review, prior to the home visit. For additional information please review our FAQs or contact mastiffstomutts@gmail.com **Mastiffs To Mutts Rescue reserves the right to approve or deny any adoption that occurs through this organization without disclosure.  We reserve the right to make exceptions for special circumstances. **PA Kennel License: 05845Click here to watch a video of Xander *Courtesy Post*.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.   September 30, 2024, 11:58 pm

Story
Are you looking for a true Southern belle Dane? If so, then Mya is your belle of the ball! Mya is a beautiful five-year-old fawn Dane (mixed in with a little we-don’t-know what) who doesn’t simply walk, she sashays her hips from side-to-side as she sidles up to you for a lean-in rub. Like a true belle, Mya is house trained and will let you know when she needs to go out by going to the back door. She loves a cuddle and, when she is completely relaxed, will roll on her back and put all four of her pretty paws in the air for a full-on belly rub. The couch and her dog bed are her places to get extra love. Mya was overweight when she came to her foster family- but she is slowly slimming down. Mya does best with a sensitive skin and stomach dog food (easy to buy online) and has absolutely no food aggression. Mya LOVES her treats (very food motivated) and has been known to counter surf (which her foster family is working on with her) when her foster family is out of the house. She does well at home alone but, true to Dane style, she prefers to be around her people. Like a Southern belle, Mya LOVES to be in the garden and stares intently at a tree for the longest time- in hopes of chasing a squirrel that dares to climb down or waiting for we don’t know what! Mya is a great companion in the car and loves to go for rides. She is on medication (Pruin) for mild leakage- but the vet feels that as she loses weight it will be a non-issue. Mya is very protective over her family members and we are working with her on this. Mya will sashay her way into your heart and home in no time! Please include your home area code and a phone number where a volunteer can reach you when contacting us about adoption.

Story
Mercedes is a 10 month old Great Dane puppy that came in to rescue with her littermate Lexus. Not much is known about their past, but Mercedes has put the past behind her, and is excited about her future! Mercedes is all puppy! And a big one at that! She demands inclusion, and is completely at the ready for any action that might come her way! She is highly food motivated, and learned "sit" in 2 sessions when a coveted food item was the result! Mercedes is incredibly sweet, and would love to be petted and adored all day long. She is currently in a foster home that works remote, and she hangs out in her foster mom's office all day long. Mercedes loves to investigate, and will chew up anything she deems chewable, so she does need a close eye kept on her. She is learning boundaries and is working hard to learn obedience basics. She is a pro, with the right treat! She is very smart, and eager to please-sometimes a little too eager. Her adoption contract will have a training contract addendum to make sure she stays on the right track in a new home. Mercedes is currently living in a home with 5 other Great Danes. She gets along beautifully with the males in the home, but has challenged the foster home's female senior Great Dane a few times. The foster home has redirected this behavior, but an adopter should be savvy enough to have slow meetings with any dog on walks etc. She does do fine with her female sibling but they have been together all of their lives. Ideally, an male only canine home would be best for Mercedes but she would do well in a one dog home that gives her the attention she needs. Mercedes will make a fantastic addition to any home that can channel her puppy energy for success. Mercedes will reward the effort endlessly with boundless love and affection. Mercedes came into MAGDRL August 2024 Dogs: male preferred Cats: unknown kids: 8+
