Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Ruby, a spirited 1-year-old female Great Dane who will be arriving from Louisiana in February! This big girl is a social butterfly, getting along wonderfully with other dogs and can be around cats if supervised. While her family loves her immensely, it has been challenging keeping her out of the chicken coop, as she has a high prey drive and a knack for going after fresh chicken dinners on the farm! Ruby can clear a 6-foot fence, so ensuring she has a secure yard is essential. She adores her canine fur siblings and loves to play, making doggy daycare a fantastic option for her in her new home. With her fully vetted status, spayed, vaccinated, and heartworm negative, Ruby promises a lifetime of love for the lucky adopter!  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.All potential adopters must fill out  the adoption application. Please read our adoption policies page in its entirety before filling out application-failure to do so may delay the adoption process. Please answer all questions on the application, failure to do so may result in your application being denied. We do not adopt on a first come first serve basis but what is the best fit for our dogs.  We do give preference to homes with fenced yards. Puppies must live in homes with fenced yards. Those with no fencing must have a plan in place for daily activity and bathroom breaks for adult dogs. With the exception of Meet and Greets, y ou will not be able to meet our adoptable animals until the adoption application is submitted online and the home visit is completed. We will not place adult rescue dogs in homes with young children under 6 years old, with the exception of puppies 6 months and under, we will adopt to families with children under 6 years old, but a fenced yard is mandatory. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Split – A Stunning Giant with Zero Concept of Personal Space! Split is a breathtaking Blue Merle and White Great Dane, around 1 year old and weighing in at 100 pounds. He came from a Louisiana breeder alongside his buddy, Bean, and is currently in a Texas rescue awaiting his ride to Minnesota. This big boy is in need of a foster or forever home—someone who understands giant breeds and is ready to help him become the best version of himself! Like Bean, Split has had no formal training and will need an adopter willing to work on his manners. He’s still learning the ropes when it comes to leash walking and basic obedience, and he has a habit of helping himself to food left within reach. He also has absolutely no concept of personal space—if you sit down, expect him in your lap, leaning against you, or sprawled at your feet like he weighs nothing. And if you take him for a walk? His head will be right in your face, making sure you know he’s there every step of the way! Despite his lack of training, Split is a social, fun-loving dog who enjoys playing with other pups and staying active. He’ll thrive in a home with structure, patience, and plenty of love. Split is vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered—ready to start his new life! If you have Great Dane experience and are willing to invest time in training, Split will be a loyal and loving (and very clingy!) companion. Are you the special person who can give this goofy, affectionate giant the forever home he deserves?Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.All potential adopters must fill out  the adoption application. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Bean – Your Big, Goofy Best Friend! Bean is a 100-pound, 1-year-old giant who came from a Louisiana breeder alongside his buddy, Split. Currently in a Texas rescue, Bean is awaiting transport to Minnesota, where he’ll need a foster or forever home. He’s a big, lovable goofball with a lot of energy and an even bigger personality! Bean has had no formal training and will need an experienced handler—preferably someone familiar with Great Danes or other giant breeds—who can help him learn some much-needed manners. Right now, he’s an expert at counter-surfing, doesn’t have the best leash skills, has no personal barriers and has zero obedience training. That said, Bean absolutely loves playing with other dogs and thrives in an active environment. He’s a busy guy who enjoys fun and interaction, but he’ll need a patient, committed adopter to guide him in the right direction. Bean is vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered—ready to start his journey to a REAL forever home. If you’re willing to put in the work, Bean will no doubt reward you with a lifetime of love, loyalty, and laughs. Could you be the one to give this oversized pup the training and stability he needs?Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.All potential adopters must fill out  the adoption application. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Ace, a beautiful Blue Merle Great Dane, who is in need of a special home to help him overcome his past and become the majestic, loving companion he’s meant to be. Ace came to us from a breeder in Louisiana, where he endured a harsh environment filled with loud yelling and little socialization. Because of his difficult upbringing, Ace is understandably cautious and fearful, but with the right guidance, he has the potential to blossom into the sweet, loyal dog we know he can be. At 2-3 years old, Ace has had some rough experiences, but he is fully vetted, neutered, chipped, and heartworm negative, making him ready to begin his healing journey with the right person. He thrives in a calm, consistent environment with individuals who are experienced with the breed and are willing to put in the time to counter-condition him. Ace has a special bond with women and would flourish best in a home with only female caregivers. While he does well with men at the kennel, he has shown signs of distrust toward men in public. He has also shown a tendency to growl at children, so a home without kids is ideal for him. Ace is an incredibly loving dog once he feels safe, and he adores other dogs—this is his happy place. His ideal home would provide him with opportunities for socialization with other dogs, as well as consistent training and structure. He would benefit greatly from doggy daycare and a structured training routine to help him build confidence and trust. This is not a dog for a first-time dog owner. We are looking for someone with extensive experience with dogs, and specifically Great Danes, who understands the complexities of this breed and is willing to work with Ace as he learns to trust again. He needs someone who can provide gentle guidance and a safe, predictable environment where he can thrive and heal. We believe in Ace's potential and see the kind, loving dog that he can be. To support his journey, the rescue will cover the cost of training and behavior work because we are committed to helping Ace become the majestic Dane we know he can be. If you're the experienced, compassionate person who can give Ace the life he deserves, you will be rewarded with a loyal companion who is ready to share his love and joy with you.   We are only considering applicants with experience in handling large, complex dogs, particularly those with a background in working with Great Danes. If you think you’re up for the challenge of helping Ace heal and flourish, we’d love to hear from you.Click here to watch a video of Ace Special Foster home needed!.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.All potential adopters must fill out  the adoption application.
