Story
Rouge is a little over 2 years old and still very much a puppy, she is incredibly loving, funny and playful. Unfortunately we already had 3 small breed older dogs and cats , she wants nothing more than to be a part of the fact but I think due to her size and energy the other dogs just are not having . I have put a lot of thought and tears into this decision, my husband has since passed and with my job she is crated 8 to 10 hours a day. I truly believe she would thrive in a home with another dog that matches her size and energy or as a only pet. Either way whoever adopts her will be the true winner in this because she is absolutely amazing she's very smart , funny and fiercely loyal and protective of her people.

Story
Looking for my new home. My name is Lucy, and I am a big friendly giant, the type of lap dog you could ever find. When you walk in the door I will be waiting so I can get up close and give you a big hug and give lots of kisses, all so you can pet me too of course. Hard floors are not my favorite, so I prefer to be a big couch potatoe but I’ll take a blanket on the floor if you insist. Birthdays- I love to celebrate, I’ll even wear a birthday hat if it means I get a yummy birthday surprise. I know a few tricks as they call them: sit, lay down, come here… I tend to get really antsy and excited waiting for the treat though, it’s something I have been working on. For now ai do lots of dancing with my front paws waiting for the treat I earned. Sometimes I am told I’m naughty. I’ll make a ‘naughty’ list like Santa Paws does: 🚽When the toilet seat is left open I get excited for the water, so I drink it all up. 🍗I have discovered some of the best food is always on the kitchen counters and I like to ‘counter surf,’ water ever that is. 🗑️I’m not really sure why the humans like to call the bags in the kitchen garbage. The things I find because I make sure to look through all of it, but I get in trouble because they have to get another bag and pick it all up again. Now the bags are in a container and I can’t check them anymore. 🙀Cats - what are they? I always freeze stiff like a statue so maybe they can’t see me. I do follow them with my eyes though, but I will not move another muscle. I may not be perfect, but I promise to love you as long as you let me, and I can’t wait to the best skritchens. Birthday: November 24, 2020 Favorite food: Diamond Naturals Skin and Coat Favorite Snack: anything chicken ‘Tricks’: sit, lay down, stay, come Friends: other dogs, not a fan of chihuahuas, I tap dance thinking I’ll step on them Friend or Foe: the best of friends not aggressive

Story
May is a wonderful Dane that was surrendered due to health issues of owners. She is overweight, so new home would need to continue small walks, and best environment is a one-story home. She is seeing vet and will be evaluated for her knees. She loves her stuffies, toys, and bones. She loves people and just wants to be loved and petted, and she will give you lots of kisses! Very happy girl who loves calm, quiet environments. Would be okay with another calm older Dane. May's sole purpose in life is to be with her humans and she is focused on her people! Not recommended to go to home with smaller dogs. Foster home reports she will do great with a calm dog-(male or female) that respects her space and toys/chew bones. Loves walks and care rides so would make a good take along companion! Potential adopter needs to understand weight loss will be ongoing issue and then maintaining. May is a wonderful girl and is a typical senior dane that just wants a soft and calm home with consistent love and attention from her humans. New home should want to walk her and help with weight loss.

Story
Why is Lala not adopted yet? Lala has told her foster papa she does not care if she is an only dog or part of a pack, she just wants her own family to love and snuggle with! She's a wonderful dog waiting for a loving home. She loves to stay close to you, and she really loves the teenage son in the foster home. She loves soft dog food right now; and the foster home is introducing other dry food. Recently had a litter. She loves to give hugs and has golden gentle eyes! Her coat is soft and a rare blue mantle coat! Needs work on leash. Doing great with the other Danes in the household. Will be spayed in Feb. Uses the foster parents as pillows, and she is a snuggle bug and loves laying on heated beds!
