I am a super sweet girl that may seem like a lot of dog at first, but after my initial excitement of being out of my cage, I am a good girl that listens well to corrections. I am only listed as good with kids over the age of 5 because I am quite large and may knock down a wandering toddler if I get too excited, plus I need to work on not jumping up on people. Other than that, I am the goodest girl that can't wait to be the best companion for my family! I did well with other dogs here at the shelter and I was a little scared when a cat hissed at me as I walked by! He is very sweet & happy but would benefit from some basic obedience and confidence building. His approx. birth date is 07/04/24 and he currently weighs 16.8#.He has been vet. checked, neutered, micro chipped, is up to date on routine shots & wormings including rabies, and has been treated with flea & heart worm preventative per our protocol. Her approx. birth date is 05/05/15 and she weighs 94# full grown. This girl was adopted out for 6 years and recently returned when her adopted became too ill to care for her. She has been vet. checked, spayed, micro chipped, is up to date on routine shots & wormings including rabies, and has been treated with flea & heart worm preventative per our protocol. She has a loving personality, but being an extra large puppy (over 100 pounds), extremely energetic, and the fact she is totally unaware of her size she can overwhelm you with her affection. She gets along with dogs that are closer to her size, but is way too much and energetic for smaller dogs. Mandy is working on learning basic obedience, including leash walking, but will need someone willing to continue her training. A fenced yard is required, and due to her size and energy level older 12+ children.
