Story
Meet Prada! Prada is truly one of a kind. Her story is one that breaks our heart. She was owned by a breeder who just didn’t care, leaving her out in a dirty yard 24hrs a day with other dogs who picked on her. She escaped her yard over and over, and finally one day she was surrendered to the local shelter. She was VERY pregnant, so the shelter asked for our help. Within 12 hours of arriving in her foster home, she had 8 amazing puppies who she raised wonderfully. After her puppies all left, her socialization and healing journey began. She has been in and out of different homes who just haven’t been what she needed, and most recently, she was adopted for over a year but unfortunately their lifestyle changed. Prada is back in our care and we want to find her the home she has deserved all along. Boarding is not a life for this girl. Prada needs a home where she’s the only pet. She thrives with the attention of just one person, and that person needs to be female. We know this seems like a lot, and that we are being too picky. Prada is just particular, and there’s no way around it. She will be your constant companion, a goofy friend, and someone you can love and depend on. She just needs someone to give her a shot. Prada is 5 years old and 120lbs. She’s a Great Dane. She’s spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, heartworm negative, and current on flea and heartworm prevention. Her adoption fee has been sponsored. To learn more or to apply, head to farfetcheddogrescue.org!

Story
Meet Wren! This goofy, fun girl is without a doubt going to make someone a great companion. Wren is a 9 month old Great Dane who is all puppy! She has spent the last few months in her foster home enjoying lots of play, love, and attention. She’s done well with dogs and people! In true puppy fashion, she is still a bit rambunctious at times. She’s all legs, and has no problem using them to hug you and sometimes you may get a leg to the face on accident. She would do best in a home with a dog over 30lbs who is not bothered by her rambunctious playstyle. She is a bit too rough for small children or small animals. Wren is great in a crate, and is already potty trained. She’s a great dog who would love an experienced home. Wren is current on vaccines, microchipped, dewormed, heartworm negative, and current on flea and heartworm prevention. She will be spayed/ gastropexied when she’s a bit older(included in her adoption fee). Her adoption fee is $450 To make Wren your new companion, complete an application today at farfetcheddogrescue.org!

Story
Meet Clover! It’s clear that Clover really won the “cuteness” lottery, with the best ears ever and eyes to die for. She is also full of personality. This goofy girl needs a little time to come out of her shell, but once she does, she will have you laughing. Clover loves to romp around outside with other dogs, and really lights up with a canine companion around to boost her confidence. She’s doing great with potty training and crate training. Clover would love a home to continue her socialization and go on adventures. Clover is 6 months old and a Great Dane/husky/lab mix. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and current on flea/heartworm prevention. Her adoption fee is $300. To adopt Clover, apply today at farfetcheddogrescue.org!

Story
Duke is a 7 year old rescue that I adopted at 10 months old for my son who has ADHD. I think he’s a Dane mix and is registered as an emotional support animal. Now my son has moved out and could not take him. I work a lot and live in an apartment. I also have a slight allergy to him so being his primary caregiver causes me to break out in hives. He used to not like small children, but he does not get as startled by them anymore, so I don’t know if that is still the case. He needs a home where someone has more time and ability to interact with him. It would be ideal if there were other dogs in the home. He likes to be involved in whatever is going on. I love him and want him to live his best life.

Story
This very handsome boy is Loki, a 6 year old black Great Dane! He currently weighs 136 lbs., so he is a big boy! Loki was adopted from Misty Eyes as a puppy, but was returned due to family changes in his home. He takes a little bit of time to warm up to new people, but attaches to `his people` once he is comfortable. He is living with other large dogs in his foster home, and enjoys running around the fenced yard playing with them. Fortunately, he simply ignores the cat. Due to his size, Loki would do best in a home without small children. We would prefer that his adopter be experienced with the Great Dane breed and able to handle such a large pup! If you would like more information about Loki, please submit a non-binding adoption application online at https://www.mistyeyes.org/adoptionapplication.

Story
Meet Lola! Lola is a Great Dane believed to be now 5/6 years of age based on her surrender intake information. Lola has been with us since May 2020. Her skin condition has improved but does need continued prevention care for the rest of her life. Lola's requirements are simple but can seem like a lot. Let's talk about Lola's personality first. Lola is the definition of LOVE. She loves all she meets. It is humans and critters big and small she loves and accepts all. Her happy adoring sweet easy simple personality makes life with her amazing. Lola is food motivated and enjoys napping and relaxing but will easily walk a mile too. She is a go-with-the-foo kinda girl. She is playful and loves all dogs. She enjoys playing wrestling snuggling napping and cuddling. She is a bed hog and one who prefers to be with her humans and animal companions always. Lola currently sleeps in a big bed with several other dogs. Lola is a sweet and calm girl but still playful. She loves going on walks and greeting people. She mostly enjoys eating, sleeping, and relaxing enjoying the day go by in the company of those she loves. She would be a great cooking buddy and taste tester as this girl loves food but she does have allergies and is pretty severe too. When she's hungry or thinks she deserves a treat, she will nudge you toward the kitchen. Lola is a quiet girl who enjoys a good car ride, nap time, central air in the summer, and a warm fire in the winter. She will snuggle up with anyone willing to share their bed or sofa. Lola enjoys the company of other dogs and doesn't mind the attention and sharing space with cats. Lola would do well in a home with mellow kids. Lola requires a very faithful committed responsible person who can oversee her care and afford it as well. Currently on a prescription diet, dry mix with wet food. She requires medical baths and lathered in a moisturizing cream to keep her skin hydrated as needed, really she is like every pampered high maintenance girl. But she's a doggo. Lola does take supplements to help improve healing and care of her skin as well as Rx meds needed if she has a flair-up. Flairs are easy to prevent. Clean healthy environment, her prescription food, must have ac in the summer and added moister in the winter. I use a humidifier. Lola had a hard start in life. Neglect at its worse. I just hope someone will adopt her and expose her to the world of a loved pet. A family, a home of her own, and the luxury of belonging and being part of a loving family. A nice size yard would be nice but not mandatory. She is well trained off leash and her recall is perfect. She makes an excellent apartment condo living girl. If you know the breed you understand. Lola is house and crate trained, current to date on all appropriate core vaccines including lepto & corona, 1 or 3-year rabies,  dewormed, fecal tested negative, microchipped including free registration for life, spay/neutered, heartworm & lyme diseases tested negative upon adoption,  and on monthly heartworm flea/tick prevention. Out-of-state adopters are welcome at the adopter's expense. We do NOT ship and meet and greet are required before adoption unless you are a previous adopter. Previous adopters of AHS have the first choice and are not expected to pay another adoption fee again.  Donation of their choice is welcomed. Training is an ongoing process that needs to be worked on daily. New issues and opportunities arise daily that have to be addressed and or rewarded. Continued training is a must. Adoption process information can be found on our website www.animalhousesanctuary.org The Adoption Fee of $350 covers all of the above and everyday needs/care.  Update: 7/6/2023

Story
🐼Panda(F), Great Dane, 4 yrs🐼 Panda is a beautiful Great Dane with a striking black-and-white coat that’s as unique as her personality. Rescued after spending weeks on her own, Panda proved she’s a survivor—though her resourceful side got her into a bit of trouble when she snagged a DoorDash delivery off someone’s porch! 💨That’s where she lovingly gained her name-she was being a trash panda! 🦝 🗑️ ⛅️At first, Panda might be a little shy, but once she warms up, her sweet and silly personality shines through. She loves to play and is an absolute goofball when she gets the zoomies. 🎾😜Panda is looking for a forever home with patient adopters who can show her love and security as she continues to adjust to a life of care and comfort. 🏡If you’re ready for cuddles, laughs, and the unconditional love of this gentle giant, Panda is ready to be your loyal companion. Will you be the one to give her the happy ending she deserves? http://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/TIP-A-300
