Story
Name: Clifford Nicknames: Cliffy, Cliff Breed: Great Dane Approx. Age: 10 months old Color: Black with small amount of white on his chest. Gentle giant. He's friendly and loving. He loves to give and receive hugs, lean his head on you, let you lean your head on him. Is more than happy to be a lap puppy! He will be getting neutered. He knows sit. Sometimes shakes paw. Working on lay. Working on down. He listens well. Still has puppy enthusiam and gets caught up in the fun with his foster brothers (a dog and a cat), so school is still in session for all of them! He is intelligent and energetic, so he would do great with going to puppy classes/training. Gets mouthy with his foster brothers (dog and cat), though he hasn't tried to hurt either of them, we remind him to be gentle, careful, he listens the vast majority of the time. He also gives them kisses, climbs on/over them. He has been taking the lessons his other foster brother(cat) and foster sisters (cats) to heart. When they say no, they mean no. Currently he sleeps in his crate at night. He is crated when we have to be away from home. He is tall. He is sweet as all get out and will make a fabulous addition to just about any family!!!

Story
Meet Moose, our gentle giant with a heart as big as his paws! Moose is a 2-year-old, 84.9-pound Great Dane/American Bulldog. He came in shy and skinny, not wanting much to do with anybody. With time and care, Moose has blossomed into a sweet, loving boy who adores being close to his people.Moose enjoys exploring the great outdoors and seems to appreciate the company of other dogs. He may not be big on toys, but he loves rolling in the grass, lounging in the shade, and savoring a tasty treat or two. Story
Nessie will do best as the queen of her home, no other pets. She just needs a home of her own and out of the kennel facility to be able to relax. Very sweet, attentive, will take time to decompress as the kennel life has been difficult for her. Date of birth: 4/7/2018 We require   that you have a fenced in yard, not a "kennel" in the yard AND we do not approve underground fencing. Depending upon the dog some exceptions are made for those who live in apartments.   We also require that the adoptee will be a part of the family "living" within the home. Our adoption process may be found on our website at www.bitofheaven.org Visits are scheduled by appointment only via emailing request to ownedbycaninesandlovit@yahoo.com   September 13, 2024, 12:05 am

Story
Meet Prada! Prada is truly one of a kind. Her story is one that breaks our heart. She was owned by a breeder who just didn’t care, leaving her out in a dirty yard 24hrs a day with other dogs who picked on her. She escaped her yard over and over, and finally one day she was surrendered to the local shelter. She was VERY pregnant, so the shelter asked for our help. Within 12 hours of arriving in her foster home, she had 8 amazing puppies who she raised wonderfully. After her puppies all left, her socialization and healing journey began. She has been in and out of different homes who just haven’t been what she needed, and most recently, she was adopted for over a year but unfortunately their lifestyle changed. Prada is back in our care and we want to find her the home she has deserved all along. Boarding is not a life for this girl. Prada needs a home where she’s the only pet. She thrives with the attention of just one person, and that person needs to be female. We know this seems like a lot, and that we are being too picky. Prada is just particular, and there’s no way around it. She will be your constant companion, a goofy friend, and someone you can love and depend on. She just needs someone to give her a shot. Prada is 5 years old and 120lbs. She’s a Great Dane. She’s spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, heartworm negative, and current on flea and heartworm prevention. Her adoption fee has been sponsored. To learn more or to apply, head to farfetcheddogrescue.org!

Story
Meet Wren! This goofy, fun girl is without a doubt going to make someone a great companion. Wren is a 9 month old Great Dane who is all puppy! She has spent the last few months in her foster home enjoying lots of play, love, and attention. She’s done well with dogs and people! In true puppy fashion, she is still a bit rambunctious at times. She’s all legs, and has no problem using them to hug you and sometimes you may get a leg to the face on accident. She would do best in a home with a dog over 30lbs who is not bothered by her rambunctious playstyle. She is a bit too rough for small children or small animals. Wren is great in a crate, and is already potty trained. She’s a great dog who would love an experienced home. Wren is current on vaccines, microchipped, dewormed, heartworm negative, and current on flea and heartworm prevention. She will be spayed/ gastropexied when she’s a bit older(included in her adoption fee). Her adoption fee is $450 To make Wren your new companion, complete an application today at farfetcheddogrescue.org!
