Bear's DOB: September 28th, 2018. Coloring: Mainly Black with White Markings. Neutered. Crate Trained. Will be very protective of your home. He gets along very well with older children (older than 7 years). He is very affectionate (cuddles, drooly kisses). However, he is very big and he isn't aware of his size, so it may not be safe to have him around very small children (not safe for infants or toddlers). He might crush/hurt them on accident due to his large size. He often knocks into me because he doesn't realize his size or strength. He would NEVER intentionally hurt anyone; he doesn't bite or attack. He will growl and bark when strangers get close to the house (protective). He enjoys being around other dogs; he doesn't really interact with cats much and tends to ignore them. He loves walking around outside, so having a backyard would be great for him. I recently gave birth and I am unable to provide care for Bear, as my time is taken up entirely by my baby.

About two months ago, Duke and his sister Georgia were found in a rural area and appeared to have either jumped out of a truck or been hit by one After months of wound care, he finally had surgery last week to remove a small bone in his wrist and he's finally on the road to recovery! Now, Duke is finally ready to start looking for his forever home! He is one of the sweetest, most loving dogs you will ever meet. He instantly steals the hearts of everyone he meets. He loves people and other dogs and would really love someone who works from home He is housebroken, doesn't touch a thing that isn't his, loves sleeping in bed with you and going for car rides. He is very social and would be a great dog to take out with you to dinner or the brewery! Duke came to us at 80lbs and is now around 94lbs. We have always known that he was very strongly a Great Dane, but maybe a teeny bit mixed as he has a ridge down his back Well, the female dog that he was dumped with (Georgia) was DNA tested and came back as 73% Great Dane and 27% Rhodesian Ridgeback - that explains the ridge! As snuggly as he is though, we knew his Dane genes were strong He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, HW- and almost healed. He is in Clearwater/Largo and his adoption fee is $400. Sweet Hyacinth is a purebred Great Dane puppy that we took from a backyard breeder who was giving away only all of the black puppies in this litter, as they were not deemed valuable. We ended up taking her and her 4 siblings, a 6 MO F Dane, Rue, as well as the Hyacinth's Mom, Poppy. They all came in underweight and full of worms, but have been dewormed and been eating like champs and growing like weeds! They love playing with each other as well as their other foster brothers and sisters. They spend most of the day playing, but have begun crate training at night. She and her sisters have received their first round of vaccinations, been microchipped, and been spayed, at the approval of our Medical Director. They are fostered in Sarasota and their adoption fee is $500. Hi, my name is Rue, and I'm a 7 month old purebred AKC Euro Great Dane! I haven't gotten the memo that I'm a large breed puppy, as my favorite place to be is on my foster parents' laps. I also love playing with my foster brother and sister. I'm curious about cats but gentle and do not chase after them. I'm learning how to sit and wait. I like my food but it's even better if you set the treats into my mouth because I'm so gentle! I take up a lot of space but I'm just a giant love bug. Being a young pup, I'm 95% housetrained, so please be cautious of my water intake and take me out enough. I am crate trained, but still new with being on a leash, so training would be ideal. Please be patient with me though because sometimes things are scary and it takes me some courage to conquer my fear. Overall, I'm just a giant, loving, friendly, clumsy girl! I cannot wait to find my furever home! Rue is microchipped, has received all age-appropriate vaccinations, is heartworm negative, and spayed.
